Hinweise nach der Richtlinie 94/9/EG zum
sicheren Betrieb im Ex-Bereich
In eigensicheren Anlagen ist das Gerät in ein
Gehäuse mit entsprechender Schutzart für den
Einsatzort einzubauen. Das Gerät darf nicht im
staubgefährdeten Ex-Bereich eingesetzt werden.
Der Einsatz in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen
ist nur innerhalb von Feldbussystemen mit
den elektrischen Daten in dieser Beschreibung
zulässig. Bei der Zusammenschaltung mehrerer
Verteilerbausteine Typ JRBS-40...-.../Ex sind die
Festlegungen der jeweiligen Feldbusspezifikation
zu beachten (z. B. für FISCO, EN 60079-11).
Im gesamten Feldbus dürfen Abschlusswider-
stände nur entsprechend dem FISCO-Modell
zugeschaltet werden.
Die Isolierung der Anschlusskabel muss voll-
ständig in den Isolierstoffkörper der Anschluss-
klemme hineinragen.
Die Abschirmungen der Feldbuskabel sind
kapazitiv mit dem Potentialausgleich verbunden.
Über einen zusätzlichen Schalter ist eine direkte
Verbindung zwischen Schirm und Gehäuse
möglich.
Das Führen eines Potentialausgleiches über den
Schirmleiter (Shield) ist nicht zulässig.
Der Potentialausgleich muss extern über einen
Erdungsleiter mit einem Mindestquerschnitt
von 4 mm durchgeführt werden. Dazu befindet

sich ein Erdungsbolzen M5 × 1 am Gehäuse der
Verteilerbox.

General user guidelines according to directive
94/9/EC with regard to safe operation in
explosion hazard areas
Concerning intrinsically safe systems, the device
has to be mounted in a housing with appropriate
degree of protection for the intended zone of
application. The device shoud not be applied in
dust-explosion hazardous areas.
The use in explosion hazard areas is only permis-
sible within fieldbus systems meeting the electri-
cal data stipulated in this description. When inter-
connecting multiple JRBS-40...-.../Ex junction
boxes, the regulations stated in the respective
fieldbus specification must be observed (e. g.
for FISCO, EN 60079-11). Terminating resistors
conform to the FISCO model can be switched in
on the entire fieldbus.
The insulation of the connection cable must
project fully into the insulated housing of the
connection terminal.
The shield of the fieldbus cables are connected
capacitively to the housing potential. An additi-
onal switch can be used for direct connection of
the shield to the housing.
Routing the equipotential bond via the shield
conductor ist not permissible.
Potential equalization must be implemented
externally via a grounding conductor with a
minimum cross-section of 4 mm
earthing bolt is provided on the junction box for
this purpose.

Instructions suivant la directive 94/9/CE sur le
fonctionnement sûr dans la zone Ex
Dans les installations à sécurité intrinsèque
l'appareil doit être monté dans un boîtier avec un
mode de protection correspondant. L'appareil ne
peut pas être utilisé dans la zone Ex présentant
des dangers de poussière.
L'utilisation dans des zones explosives n'est
permise que dans des systèmes de bus de terrain
avec les données électriques telles que décrites.
L'interconnexion de plusieurs boxes de distributi-
on des types JRBS-40...-.../Ex implique le respect
des dispositions de la spécification du bus de
terrain concernée (p.ex. pour FISCO,
EN 60079-11). Dans l'ensemble du bus de terrain,
les résistances de fin de ligne ne peuvent être
raccordées qu'en conformité au modèle FISCO.
L'isolation des câbles de raccordement doit
s'emboîter complètement dans le corps isolant
de la borne de raccordement.
Les blindages des câbles de bus de terrain sont
liés d'une façon capacitive à la compensation de
potentiel.
Un commutateur supplémentaire permet une
connexion directe entre le blindage et le boîtier.
Il est interdit de conduire une compensation de
potentiel sur le conducteur de blindage (shield).
La compensation de potentiel doit être effectuée
