GENERAL SAFETY RULES
H1
Introduction
The machines are provided with electric and/or
mechanical safety devices for protecting workers and
the machine itself. Therefore the operator must not
remove or tamper with such devices.
The Manufacturer declines any liability for damage due
to tampering or their non-use.
This appliance is not intended for use by people
(including children) with limited physical, sensory or
mental abilities or without experience and knowledge of
it, unless they are supervised or instructed in its use by
a person responsible for their safety.
H1.1
Protection devices installed on the
machine

H1.1.1 Guards

The guards on the machine are:
Interlocked movable guards (panels on customer side
and operator side) for accessing the compartment
inside the machine;
Door for accessing the machine's electrical equipment,
made from hinged panels openable with tools. The door
must not be opened when the machine is be moved,
if there is equipment inside that is dangerous when
powered, pressurized or moving.
ATTENTION!
Several illustrations in the manual show
the machine, or parts of it, without
guards or with guards removed. This
is purely for explanatory purposes.
Do not use the machine without the
guards or with the protection devices
deactivated.
H2
Ceased use
When the appliance is no longer to be used, make it
unusable by removing the power supply wiring.
H3
Instructions for use and maintenance
Risks mainly of a mechanical, thermal and electrical
nature are present in the machine.
Where possible the risks have been neutralized:
Directly, by means of adequate design solutions;
Indirectly by using guards, protection and safety
devices;
During maintenance several risks remain, as these
could not be eliminated, and must be neutralized by
adopting specifi c measures and precautions.
Do not carry out any checking, cleaning, repair or
maintenance operations on moving parts.
Workers must be informed of this prohibition by means
of clearly visible signs.
Do not disconnect the appliance until the cooking
modules are switched off and no longer active. In
markets where usable, with the use of "Fry Top"
type appliances with considerable thermal inertia, it
is necessary to ensure cooling before disconnecting
the power. For any doubts or for more information,
always refer to the instruction manuals of the
specifi c appliances.
To guarantee machine effi ciency and correct operation,
periodical maintenance must be carried out according
to the instructions given in this manual.
In particular, make sure to periodically check correct
operation of all the safety devices and the insulation of
electrical cables, which must be replaced if damaged.
ATTENTION!
Never operate the machine by removing,
modifying or tampering with the guards
or protection and safety devices.
H4
Foreseeable improper use
Improper use is any use different from that specifi ed
in this manual. During machine operation, other types
of work or activities considered improper and that in
general can involve risks for the safety of operators and
damage to the system are not allowed.
Foreseeable improper use includes:
Failure to remove the power plug before carrying out
adjustment, cleaning reinstatement and maintenance
operations;
Failure to turn the machine off by pressing button "
for about 2 seconds at the end of the day;
Structural changes or modifi cations to the operating
logic;
Tampering with the guards or safety devices;
Failure to use personal protection equipment by
operators, specialized technicians and maintenance
personnel;
Failure to use suitable accessories (e.g. the use of
unsuitable tools, ladders, chairs, tables for carrying
out maintenance on equipment placed inside or on
top of the machine);
Keeping combustible or fl ammable materials, or in any
case materials not compatible with or pertinent to the
work, near the machine;
Incorrect machine installation (see the section "
Installation and assembly");
Placing in the machine objects not compatible with
its function or that can obstruct/damage the machine,
injure people or pollute the environment;
Placing objects (e.g. trays, ladles, etc.) over the inlet
of Zone A;
Moving the machine without having switched it off and
disconnected it from the power supply, winding the
cable around the cable holder accessory provided;
Non-compliance with the requirements for correct
machine use;
Placing the machine on fl oors that are not perfectly fl at
or with braking wheels not blocked, or on structures
that are not perfectly stable.
Other actions that give rise to risks not eliminable by
the Manufacturer;
