Aligning the refrigerator horizontally
• Adjust the two feet on the front to level the refrigerator.
• If the appliance is not level, the door may not close properly at the magnetic seals.
Location
• The appliance should be placed far away from heat sources such as radiators,
boilers and direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the air can circulate freely at the back of the cabinet.
• If the appliance is placed under an overhanging wall unit, the minimum distance
between the top of the refrigerator and the wall unit must be at least 50 mm to
ensure optimum performance. Ideally, however, the appliance should not be
placed under overhanging wall units. By adjusting the two feet on the bottom of the
refrigerator, you can precisely align the refrigerator.
• The refrigerator is not suitable for installation and must be free-standing.
Electrical connection
WARNING
Risk of electric shock! It must be possible to disconnect the appliance
from the mains. Make sure that the plug is easily accessible after
installation.
• Check the voltage on the rating plate before use. Only connect the appliance to
sockets that correspond to the voltage of the appliance.
• The appliance must be earthed. If the household socket is not earthed, connect
the appliance to a separate earth connection in accordance with the applicable
regulations and consult a qualifi ed electrician.
• The manufacturer accepts no liability if the above safety precautions are not
observed.
