Safety
1.3
Inductive gauges based on the LVDT principle are devices (components) which cannot be operated autono-
mously. Neither an EU Declaration of Conformity nor a CE marking are thus required according to the EMC
law. Sources: EMVG (Electromagnetic Compatibility Act), Guidelines on the application of directive 2014/30/
EU.
The gauges were EMC tested together with the MSC7401, MSC7802 and MSC7602 controllers.
1.4
Inductive LVDT gauges are designed for use in industrial environments.
They are used
- for measuring displacement, distance, thickness and dimension
- to detect the position of components or machine parts
The sensors may only be operated within the limits specified in the technical
The sensors should only be used in such a way that in case of malfunction or failure personnel or machinery
are not endangered.
Additional precautions for safety and damage prevention must be taken for safety-related applications.
