4.4.2 Replay via the network
The unit in the local network from which
WAP-202 obtains the audio files must sup-
port the UPnP standard (Universal Plug and
Play) and it must be possible to use it as a
media server, e g a computer on which the
Windows Media Player (version 10 or higher)
is installed or a router with media server func-
tionality to which a USB storage medium with
audio files can be connected

tion in the United States and other countries.
1) Set up the unit that provides the audio
files in such a way that it works as a media
server (e g make the required sharing and
media streaming settings at the computer)
Please refer to the instructions or software
documentation of the respective unit
2) In the menu "Music player" (fig 41), select
the menu item

the knob to call up the menu item: The
name of the media server will be shown
If multiple media servers are shown, select
the media server desired and then press
the knob to open its media archive
3) The menu structure of the media archive
depends on the media server used Turn

egories / folders and titles and then press
the knob to call them up When the title
desired is called up, it will be replayed
4) To return to the previous selection level
in the menu, turn the knob CONTROL
SELECT or press the button BACK (with
the remote control: press the button

Note: The following applies to media servers that
have once been connected to WAP-202 and sup-
port the function "Wake on LAN" (e g a computer
accordingly configured): When they currently are
not available in the network (e g because they have
been switched off or disconnected from the net-
work), a question mark will be added to their name
in the list When such a server is selected and called
up, WAP-202 will try to "wake up" the server and
to establish a connection To remove servers with a
question mark from the list, call up the menu item
and then confirm the confirmation

4.4.3 Creating and replaying a playlist
To replay specific titles from different folders,
a playlist with up to 500 titles can be created
It is possible to mix titles from a UPnP-enabled
unit (media server) in the network and from
a USB storage device connected
Note: The playlist will be deleted when the unit is
switched off with the mains switch POWER, but will
still be available when the unit is switched to the
standby mode
1) To add a title to the playlist while it is being
replayed or when it has been selected,
keep the knob CONTROL SELECT pressed

until the following message appears on
the display:
Added to My playlist
To add all titles of a folder to the playlist,
select the folder and keep the knob CON-
TROL SELECT pressed until the message
above appears on the display If the folder
includes subfolders, the titles of the sub-
folders will also be added to the playlist
Note: The playlist does not provide any folder
structure; the titles will be added to the playlist
one after the other
2) To replay the playlist, press the button
MENU (the menu shown in fig 41 will
appear) and then use the line
to call up the list The first title will
list

4.5 Replay of a Bluetooth source

To replay audio files from a Bluetooth source
(e g smartphone or tablet computer), press
the button MODE repeatedly until

Activate the Bluetooth function at the Blue-
tooth source In the list of the units availa-
ble, WAP-202 will be indicated by the name
"BLUE" Pair the Bluetooth source with
"BLUE" (
refer to the manual instructions
of the Bluetooth source, if required) Once the
pairing has been made, the Bluetooth symbol
will stop flashing
To control the replay (replay / pause, pre-
vious / next title, fast reverse / forward), either
use the Bluetooth source or the appropriate
buttons at the unit or on the remote con-
trol (

fig  45) The functions available depend on
the Bluetooth source used
4.6 Replay of an audio source
connected to the AUX input
To reproduce the sound of an audio source
connected to the jack AUX INPUT, press
the button MODE repeatedly until
