1 Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Diese hochwertigen Lautsprecher der Serie NEOVOX
von CARPOWER sind speziell für den Einsatz in High-
End-Car-HiFi-Anlagen konzipiert. Sie werden paar-
weise mit den dazugehörigen, perfekt abgestimmten
Frequenzweichen geliefert und sichern durch ihre
2-Ω-Impedanz die optimale Leistungsausnutzung
moderner Endstufen. Die maximale Belastbarkeit ist
in den technischen Daten angegeben und darf auf kei-
nen Fall überschritten werden.
2 Hinweise für den sicheren Gebrauch
Die Lautsprecher und Frequenzweichen müssen fest
und fachgerecht an einer mechanisch stabilen Stelle
im Fahrzeug montiert werden, damit sie sich nicht
lösen und zu gefährlichen Geschossen werden.
Werden die Lautsprecher und Frequenzweichen
zweckentfremdet, falsch angeschlossen, überlastet
oder nicht fachgerecht repariert, kann für eventuelle
Schäden keine Haftung übernommen werden.
Sollen die Lautsprecher und Frequenzweichen end-
gültig aus dem Betrieb genommen werden, überge-
ben Sie sie zur umweltgerechten Entsorgung einem
örtlichen Recyclingbetrieb.
3 Anschluss
Der Anschluss der Frequenzweiche und des Laut-
sprechers für einen Kanal ist in der nebenstehenden
Abbildung dargestellt. Der Anschluss für den zweiten
Kanal ist identisch.
3.1 Polarität
Nie die Plus- und Minuspole vertauschen.
1. Immer den Pluspol des Endstufenausgangs mit
dem Pluspol des Frequenzweicheneingangs IN
verbinden.

1 Applications
These high-quality speakers of the NEOVOX series by
CARPOWER have been specially designed for appli-
cation in high-end car HiFi systems. They are supplied
in pairs together with the corresponding crossover net-
works perfectly matched. Due to their 2 Ω impedance,
the speakers ensure an optimum power utilization of
state-of-the-art power amplifiers. The music power can
be found in the specifications. Never exceed this value.
2 Safety Notes
The speakers and the crossover networks must be
installed rigidly and expertly at a mechanically sta-
ble place in the car to ensure that they will not work
loose and turn into dangerous projectiles.
No liability for any damage will be accepted if the
speakers and the crossover networks are used for
other purposes than originally intended, if they are
overloaded, not correctly connected or not repaired
in an expert way.
If the speakers and the crossover networks are to
be put out of operation definitively, take them to a
local recycling plant for a disposal which is not
harmful to the environment.
3 Connection
The connection of the crossover network and the
speaker for one channel is shown in the opposite fig-
ure. The connection for the second channel is ident-
ical.
3.1 Polarity
Never confuse the positive and negative poles.
1. Always connect the positive pole of the power
amplifier output to the positive pole of the crossover
network input IN.

2. Die Pluspole der Frequenzweichenausgänge mit
den Pluspolen des Lautsprechers verbinden. Am
Lautsprecher ist der Pluspol jeweils am roten Punkt
erkennbar (Pfeile b).
Als Verbindungskabel werden Lautsprecherkabel
empfohlen, bei denen eine Ader gekennzeichnet ist,
z. B. aus der Serie SPC-... von MONACOR. Die
gekennzeichnete Ader immer am entsprechenden
Pluspol anklemmen, sodass keine Verpolung entsteht.
3.2 Lautsprecheranschlüsse
Die Anschlüsse des Mitteltöners und des Hochtöners
nicht verwechseln! Die Hochtöneranschlüsse sind an
der abgehenden Leitung (Pfeil c) zu erkennen und
müssen mit den Anschlüssen TWEETER der Fre-
quenzweiche verbunden werden.
3.3 Höhenanhebung
Bei der Auslieferung sind die Frequenzweichen mit je
einer Brücke in der Position BRIDGE (Pfeil a) be-
stückt. Dadurch werden die Höhen um 3 dB ange-
hoben. Ist die Höhenanhebung nicht erforderlich, die
Brücke entfernen.

2. Connect the positive poles of the crossover network
outputs to the positive poles of the speaker. The
positive pole on the speaker is always marked by a
red dot (arrows b).
As connection cables, speaker cables with a coded
core are recommended, e. g. from the MONACOR
SPC-... series. Always connect the coded core to the
corresponding positive pole to prevent reverse polarity.
3.2 Speaker connections
Do not confuse the connections of the midrange
speaker and the tweeter! The tweeter connections can
be recognized by the outgoing line (arrow c) and must
be connected to the connections TWEETER of the
crossover network.
3.3 Boosting of high frequencies
In the factory, the crossover networks are equipped
with a bridge each in the position BRIDGE (arrow a).
This results in a boosting of the high frequencies by
3 dB. If boosting of the high frequencies is not required,
remove the bridge.
