• Do not mix batteries/rechargeable batteries with different charge levels (e. g. full and half-full batteries/
rechargeable batteries).
Can also be powered by rechargeable batteries instead of standard batteries. Due to the lower
voltage of rechargeable batteries (batteries = 1.5 V, rechargeable batteries = 1.2 V), the operat-
ing time may be shorter.
Therefore, we recommend you to power the piggy bank using high-quality alkaline batteries.
If you still wish to use rechargeable batteries, you should only use NiMH rechargeable batteries
with low self-discharge.

Technical Data
Operating voltage ........................3 V/DC, via 2 batteries of type AA/Mignon
Suitable for ................................. Euro coins in circulation (1 cent, 2 cent, 5 cent, 10 cent, 20 cent, 50 cent,
Dimensions (LxWxH) ...................176 x 120 x 152 mm
Weight .........................................approx. 218 g (without batteries)
When changing the batteries, the total amount stored in the counter is stored. It is only deleted
and reset to "0.00" when the "RESET" button is pressed.
During operation of the counter, it is necessary for the mechanics to recognise the exact coin
diameter.
For this reason, a relatively strong spring is needed in the counter, so the recognition rollers in
the counter slot press fi rmly on the inserted coin.
For this reason, inserting a coin requires a little extra force.
Inserting a coin too quickly or coins that are worn or damaged on the edges can lead to incorrect
recognition. The same applies if the coin is not inserted into the counter slot completely and/or
retracted or several coins are inserted at the same time.
Example: If you wish to add a 50 Euro note to "6.00" Euro, you have to press the "SET" button
until "6" starts to fl ash. Set the amount to "16.00" using the "+" key.
Now press the "SET" button several times until "1" fl ashes. Afterwards, set the amount "56.00"
using the "+" key.
Dispose of an unserviceable product in accordance with the relevant statutory regulations.
Remove any rechargeable batteries inserted and dispose of them separately from the product.
Contaminated batteries/rechargeable batteries are labelled with these symbols to indicate that
disposal in the domestic waste is forbidden. The symbols for the relevant heavy metals are:
Cd=Cadmium, Hg=Mercury, Pb=Lead (marked on batteries/rechargeable batteries, e.g. under
the rubbish bin symbol shown to the left).
