1 Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Das Mikrofonmodul ECM-30A ist speziell zur Audio-
nachrüstung von Video-Überwachungsanlagen konzi-
piert. Es kann aber auch für andere Audioanwendungen
eingesetzt werden, bei denen ein Mikrofonsignal mit
Line-Pegel benötigt wird.
2 Wichtige Hinweise zur Montage

Das Modul ist nach der EMV-Richtlinie 2004 / 108 / EG
(EMV = Elektromagnetische Verträglichkeit) aufge-
baut. Damit es auch im Betrieb diese Richtlinie erfüllt,
muss es in ein ab geschirmtes Gehäuse eingesetzt
und der Audioausgang über eine abgeschirmte Lei-
tung angeschlossen werden. Wird die EMV-Richtlinie
nicht eingehalten, erlischt die Konformitätserklärung.

Schützen Sie das Modul vor Feuchtigkeit und Hitze
(zulässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich 0 – 40 °C).

1 Applications
The microphone module ECM-30A is especially de -
signed for audio refitting equipment of video surveillance
systems. However, it can also be used for other audio
applications where a microphone signal with line level is
required.
2 Important Notes for Mounting

The module is designed according to the EMC direc-
tive 2004 / 108 / EC (EMC = electromagnetic compatibil-
ity). In order to meet the requirements of this directive
also during operation, it must be inserted into a
screened housing and the audio output must be con-
nected via a screened cable. If the EMC directive is not
observed, the declaration of conformity is invalid.

Protect the module against humidity and heat (admis-
sible ambient temperature range 0 – 40 °C).

1 Possibilités dʼutilisation
Le module microphone ECM-30A est spécialement
développé pour un équipement audio dʼinstallations de

dʼautres applications audio où un signal micro avec
niveau ligne est requis.
2 Conseils dʼutilisation et de sécurité

Le module microphone répond à la norme européen-
ne 2004 / 108 / CE, relative à la compatibilité électro-
magnétique. Pour quʼil réponde, également pendant
son fonctionnement, à cette directive, il faut le placer
dans un boîtier blindé et relier la sortie audio via un
câble blindé. En cas de non-respect de cette norme,
la déclaration de conformité nʼest plus valable.

Protégez le module de lʼhumidité et de la chaleur (plage
de température de fonctionnement autorisée 0 – 40 °C).

daraus resultierende Sach- oder Personenschäden

umweltgerechten Entsorgung einem örtlichen
Recyclingbetrieb.
3 Anschluss des Mikrofonmoduls
Das Modul über die Buchse CN3 anschließen (siehe
auch die Abbildung unten):

originally intended, if it is not correctly connected or
not repaired in an expert way.
If the module is to be put out of operation defin-
itively, take it to a local recycling plant for a dis-
posal which is not harmful to the environment.
3 Connection of the Microphone Module
Connect the module via the jack CN3 (also see figure
below):

3 Branchement du module microphone
Reliez le module via la prise CN3 (voir également le

1) Den Audioausgang (Pin A) über ein abgeschirmtes
Audiokabel mit dem Line-Audioeingang z. B. eines
Monitors verbinden: Den gelben Anschlussdraht an
die Kabelseele und den schwarzen Draht an die
Abschirmung des Audiokabels anschließen.
2) Zur Stromversorgung ein stabilisiertes 12-V-Netz gerät
mit dem roten (+12 V) und schwarzen Draht (Masse)
verbinden. Dabei auf die richtige Polung achten.

1) Connect the audio output (pin A) via a screened
audio cable to the line audio input e. g. of a monitor:
connect the yellow wire to the cable core and the
black wire to the screening of the audio cable.
2) For power supply connect a regulated 12 V power
supply unit to the red (+12 V) and the black wires
(ground). Observe the correct polarity.

1) Reliez la sortie audio (pin A) via un cordon audio blin-
dé à lʼentrée audio ligne par exemple dʼun moniteur :
reliez le conducteur jaune à lʼâme du câble et le
conducteur noir au blindage du cordon audio.
2) Pour lʼalimentation, une alimentation secteur 12 V
stabilisée est à relier au conducteur rouge (+12 V) et
au conducteur noir (masse). Veillez à respecter la
polarité.
