1 Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Die S/W-Kamera TVCCD-312/WS ist speziell für den
Einsatz in Video-Überwachungsanlagen konzipiert.
Sie ist mit einem Fixfokus-Objektiv, einem automati-
schen elektronischen Verschluß und einer automati-
schen Verstärkungsregelung (AGC) ausgestattet.
2 Hinweise für den sicheren Gebrauch
Die Kamera entspricht der EU-Richtlinie für elektro-
magnetische Verträglichkeit 89/336/EWG.
Die Kamera ist nur zur Verwendung im Innenbereich
geeignet. Schützen Sie sie vor Feuchtigkeit und Hitze
(zulässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich 0 – 40 °C).
Berühren Sie die Linsen des Objektivs auf gar kei-
nen Fall mit den Fingern, und schützen Sie sie vor
Staub oder sonstiger Verschmutzung.
Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung der Kamera nur
ein trockenes, weiches Tuch, auf keinen Fall Che-
mikalien oder Wasser.
Wird die Kamera zweckentfremdet, nicht richtig an-
geschlossen oder nicht fachgerecht repariert, kann
für eventuelle Schäden keine Haftung übernommen
werden.
Soll die Kamera endgültig aus dem Betrieb genom-
men werden, übergeben Sie sie zur Entsorgung
einem örtlichen Recyclingbetrieb.
3 Montage
1) Das Gehäuse durch Abschrauben des Halteringes
für die Kuppel öffnen.
2) Die 3polige Anschlußleitung der Kameraleiterplatte
mit der Schraubanschlußleiste verbinden, so daß

1 Applications
The B/W camera TVCCD-312/WS is especially de-
signed for use in video surveillance systems. It is
equipped with a fixfocus lens, an automatic electronic
shutter, and an automatic gain control (AGC).
2 Safety Notes
The camera corresponds to the directive for electro-
magnetic compatibility 89/336/EEC.
The camera is only suitable for indoor use. Protect it
against humidity and heat (admissible ambient tem-
perature range 0 – 40 °C).
Do not touch the lenses of the lens assembly with
your fingers under any circumstances, and protect
the lenses against dust and other impurities.
For cleaning of the camera only use a dry, soft cloth,
by no means chemicals or water.
If the camera is used for purposes other than orig-
inally intended, if it is not connected correctly or not
repaired in an expert way, no liability for any damage
will be accepted.
If the camera is to be put out of operation definitively,
take it to a local recycling plant for disposal.
3 Mounting
1) Open the housing by unscrewing the supporting
ring for the dome.
2) Connect the 3-pole connecting line of the camera
PCB to the screw connector strip so that the
camera connections are accessible via the con-
nector strip from the lower side. Note the selected

die Kameraanschlüsse über die Anschlußleiste von
der Unterseite zugänglich sind. Die gewählte Kon-
taktbelegung notieren (z. B. rote Ader an Kontakt 1,
schwarze Ader an Kontakt 2, weiße Ader an Kon-
takt 3).
3) Den elektrischen Anschluß über die Schraub-
anschlüsse auf der Unterseite herstellen:
Die Betriebsspannung von 12 V
takte der roten Ader (Pluspol) und der schwarzen
Ader (Minuspol) anschließen. Es ist ein stabilisier-
tes 12-V-Netzgerät erforderlich (z. B. PS-12CCD
oder PS-128A von MONACOR). Die Stromauf-
nahme beträgt 110 mA.
Das Videosignal von den Kontakten der weißen
Ader (Signal) und der schwarzen Ader (Masse)
über ein 75-Ω-Koaxialkabel auf die Video-Ein-
gangsbuchse des Monitors geben. Bei einer
Kabellänge von mehr als 100 m sollte ein Video-
verstärker zwischen die Kamera und das lange
Kabel geschaltet werden, um die Kabelverluste
auszugleichen.
Beim Einsatz von mehreren Kameras einen
Kamera-Umschalter (z. B. TVS-410 oder TVS-810
von MONACOR) oder einen Video-Splitter (z. B.
TVSP-42 oder TVSP-44 von MONACOR) zwi-
schen die Kameras und den Monitor schalten.
4) Das Gehäuseunterteil mit der Kamera an geeigne-
ter Stelle der Decke festschrauben.
4 Inbetriebnahme
1) Die Schutzkappe vom Objektiv abnehmen.
2) Nach dem Anlegen der Betriebsspannung und dem
Einschalten des Monitors die Kamera auf den
Überwachungsbereich ausrichten. Dazu die ent-
sprechenden Schrauben der Kamerahalterung
lösen und nach dem Ausrichten wieder festziehen.

3) Make the electrical connection via the screw termi-
nals on the lower side:
Apply the operating voltage of 12 V
contacts of the red core (positive pole) and the
black core (negative pole). An electronically re-
gulated 12 V power supply unit is required (e. g.
PS-12CCD or PS-128A by MONACOR). The cur-
rent consumption is 110 mA.
Feed the video signal from the contacts of the
white core (signal) and the black core (ground) via
a 75 Ω coaxial cable to the video input jack of the
monitor. If the cable length exceeds 100 m, a video
amplifier should be inserted between the camera
and the long cable to compensate cable losses.
If several cameras are used, insert a camera
switcher (e. g. TVS-410 or TVS-810 by MONACOR)
or a video quad processor (e. g. TVSP-42 or TVSP-
44 by MONACOR) between the cameras and the
monitor.
4) Screw the lower part of the housing with the
camera at a suitable place on the ceiling.
4 Setting into Operation
1) Remove the protection cover from the lens.
2) After applying the operating voltage and switching
on the monitor, align the camera to the surveillance
area. For this purpose unscrew the corresponding
screws of the camera support and tighten them
again after aligning.
3) If the area to be monitored is not clearly repro-
duced, the mechanical focus setting must be cor-
rected. For this purpose unscrew the small screw

3) Wenn der zu überwachende Bereich unscharf
abgebildet wird, muß das Auflagemaß korrigiert
werden. Dazu die kleine Schraube am Objektiv-
halter lösen. Das Objektiv vorsichtig so weit dre-
hen, bis das Bild scharf ist. Anschließend die
Schraube wieder festziehen.
4) Die Kuppel so auf das Gehäuseunterteil setzen,
daß die Kamera durch den durchsichtigen Teil
an die Kon-
blicken kann. Die Kuppel mit dem Haltering fest-
schrauben.
