1 Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Dieses DC-Objektiv mit CS-Mount-Gewinde und ma-
nuellem Zoom ist für den Betrieb mit einer CCTV-Ka-
mera konzipiert, die mit einem CCD-Sensor der Größe
8,5 mm ( 1 / ") ausgestattet ist. Die automatische Blen-

denregelung erfolgt bei diesem Objektiv über einen in
der Kamera integrierten Vergleichsverstärker. Aus die-
sem Grund kann nur eine Kamera verwendet werden,
die für den Betrieb von DC-Objektiven ausgelegt ist.
2 Hinweise für den sicheren Gebrauch
Das Objektiv entspricht der EMV-Richtlinie für elektro-
magnetische Verträglichkeit 89/336/EWG.
Schützen Sie das Objektiv vor starken Erschütte-
rungen, Feuchtigkeit und extremer Hitze oder Kälte.
Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung nur Mittel speziell
für optische Linsen. Schützen Sie das Objektiv vor
Staub und Verschmutzungen und berühren Sie die
Linsenoberfläche nicht mit den Fingern.
Wird das Objektiv zweckentfremdet, nicht richtig an-
geschlossen, falsch bedient oder nicht fachgerecht
repariert, kann keine Garantie für das Objektiv und
keine Haftung für daraus resultierende Sach- oder
Personenschäden übernommen werden.
Soll das Objektiv endgültig aus dem Betrieb genom-
men werden, übergeben Sie es zur umweltfreundli-
chen Entsorgung einem örtlichen Recyclingbetrieb.

1 Applications
This DC lens with CS-mount thread and manual zoom
is designed for operation with a CCTV camera equip-
ped with a 8.5 mm ( 1 / ") CCD sensor. The automatic

iris control for this lens is made via a comparison am-
plifier integrated in the camera. Therefore, only a
camera designed for DC lens operation can be used.
2 Safety Notes
This lens corresponds to the directive for electromag-
netic compatibility 89/336/EEC.
Protect the lens from intensive vibration, humidity,
and excessive heat or cold.
For cleaning only use specific cleansing agents for
optical lenses. Protect the lens from dust and impu-
rities, never touch the lens surface with your fingers.
If the lens is used for purposes other than originally
intended, if it is not correctly connected or operated,
or not repaired in an expert way, no guarantee
claims for the lens and no liability for any resulting
personal damage or material damage will be ac-
cepted.
If the lens is to be put out of operation definitively,
take it to a local recycling plant for a disposal which
is not harmful to the environment.

3 Montage
Die hintere Objektivschutzkappe (4) abnehmen und
das Objektiv an die Kamera schrauben. Nachdem das
Objektivgewinde bis zum Ende hineingedreht ist, lässt
sich das Objektiv gegen einen erhöhten Widerstand
noch ca. 340° weiterdrehen. Dadurch kann das Kabel
in eine günstige Lage gebracht werden.
4 Anschluss
Der 4-polige Stecker des Objektivkabels wird an die
Buchse für die Blendenregelung an der Kamera an-
geschlossen. Vor dem Anschluss überprüfen, ob Ste-
cker und Buchse die gleiche Kontaktbelegung haben
(siehe folgende Abbildung und Tabelle).

5 Brennweite und Fokus einstellen
1) Die vordere Objektivschutzkappe (1) abnehmen.
2) Die gewünschte Brennweite mit dem Zoom-Ein-
stellring (3) einstellen: Die Rändelschraube des
Rings lösen und den Ring drehen. Die Brennweite
kann stufenlos zwischen Weitwinkel („W") und

Remove the rear lens cover (4) and screw the lens to
the camera. After entirely screwing in the lens thread,
it is still possible to turn the lens by approx. 340°
against an increased resistance. This will result in a
more favourable position of the cable.
4 Connection
Connect the 4-pole plug of the lens cable to the jack
for the iris control on the camera. Prior to connecting,
make sure that the plug and the jack have the same
pin configuration (see figure and table below).

5 Adjusting the Focal Length and the Focus
1) Remove the front lens cover (1).
2) Adjust the desired focal length with the zoom ad-
justing ring (3): Release the knurled screw of the
ring and turn the ring. The focal length is con-
tinuously adjustable between wide angle ("W") and

gegen ein Verdrehen zu sichern.
3) Mit dem Fokus-Einstellring (2) das Bild scharf stel-
len: Die Rändelschraube des Rings lösen und den
Ring drehen, bis das Bild scharf ist. Die Schraube
nach der Einstellung wieder festziehen.
Nach jeder Brennweitenänderung muss der Fokus er-
neut eingestellt werden.

3) Adjust a sharp picture with the focusing ring (2):
Release the knurled screw of the ring and turn the
ring until the picture is in focus. After adjusting, fas-
ten the screw again.
Each time the focal length is modified, the focus must
be readjusted.
