1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten
Dieser Druckkammerlautsprecher ist speziell für den
Einsatz in ELA-Beschallungsanlagen konzipiert, die
mit 100-V-Technik arbeiten. Er ist als 2-Wege-System
mit einem 16-cm-Tiefmitteltöner und einem 2,5-cm-
Hochtonhorn ausgestattet und erreicht da durch eine
gute Musikwiedergabe. Durch das feuchtigkeitsge-
schützte ABS-Gehäuse eignet sich der Lautsprecher
auch bedingt für den Außenbereich, wenn er vor Tropf-
und Spritzwasser sowie Niederschlägen geschützt
wird.
2 Wichtige Hinweise für den Gebrauch
Der Lautsprecher entspricht allen erforderlichen Richt-
linien der EU und deshalb mit gekennzeichnet.

Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen nur ein trockenes
oder angefeuchtetes, weiches Tuch, auf keinen Fall
scharfe Reinigungsmittel oder Chemikalien.

Wird der Lautsprecher zweckentfremdet, nicht fach-
gerecht montiert, falsch angeschlossen oder über-
lastet, kann keine Haftung für daraus resultierende

1 Applications
This horn speaker is especially designed for applica-
tion in PA systems operating with a 100 V technique.
As a 2-way system, it is equipped with a 16 cm bass-
midrange speaker and a 2.5 cm tweeter horn and thus
supplies a good music reproduction. Due to the humid-
ity-proof ABS housing, the speaker is also suitable for
outdoor applications on the condition that it is pro-
tected against dripping water and splash water as well
as precipitation.
2 Important Notes
The speaker corresponds to all required directives of
the EU and is therefore marked with

For cleaning, only use a dry or slightly wet cloth,
never use aggressive detergents or chemicals.

No guarantee claims for the speaker and no liability
for any resulting personal damage or material
damage will be accepted if the speaker is used for
other purposes than originally intended, if it is not
mounted in an expert way, not correctly connected,
or if it is overloaded.

Soll der Lautsprecher endgültig aus dem
Betrieb genommen werden, übergeben Sie
ihn zur umweltgerechten Entsorgung einem
örtlichen Recyclingbetrieb.
3 Installation
WARNUNG Im Betrieb liegt berührungsgefährliche
Spannung bis 100 V an der Anschluss-
leitung an.
Die Installation darf nur durch Fachper-
sonal erfolgen.
Isolieren Sie unbedingt die nicht benutzten Adern der
Lautsprecher-Anschlussleitung.
Achten Sie auf die Belastung des ELA-Verstärkers
durch die Lautsprecher. Eine Überlastung kann den
Verstärker beschädigen! Die Summe der Leistungen
aller angeschlossenen Lautsprecher darf die Verstär-
kerleistung nicht überschreiten.
1) Den Lautsprecher an geeigneter Stelle festschrau-
ben und auf die zu beschallende Fläche ausrichten.
2) Vor dem elektrischen Anschluss des Lautsprechers
die ELA-Anlage komplett ausschalten, damit die

3 Installation
WARNING During operation, there is a hazard of
contact with a voltage of up to 100 V at
the connection cable.
The installation must always be carried
out by skilled personnel only.
Insulate in any case the conductors of the speaker
connection cable which are not used.
Pay attention to the load of the PA amplifier by the
speakers. An overload may damage the PA amplifier!
The total power of all speakers connected must not

exceed the amplifier power.
1) Tightly screw the speaker at a suitable place and
align it to the area where the sound is to be
directed.
2) Prior to the electrical connection of the speaker,
switch off the PA system completely so that the
100 V audio cable of the PA amplifier does not carry
any voltage!

3) Die Lautsprecherleitung an die 100-V-Audioleitung
vom ELA-Verstärker anschließen: Die graue Ader
und eine der anderen farbigen Adern, die der
gewünschten Nennbelastung (Lautstärke) ent-
spricht, mit der 100-V-Audioleitung verbinden.
4) Beim Anschluss von mehreren Lautsprechern
darauf achten, dass die Lautsprecher alle gleich
gepolt werden (z. B. graue Ader = Minusanschluss)
und dass der ELA-Verstärker nicht überlastet wird.
3) Connect the speaker cable to the 100 V audio cable
of the PA amplifier: Connect the grey conductor and
one of the other coloured conductors which corre-
sponds to the desired power rating (volume) to the
100 V audio cable.

4) When connecting several speakers, make sure that
all speakers have the same polarity (e. g. grey con-
ductor = negative pole) and that the PA amplifier is
not overloaded.
