Verwendungsmöglichkeiten
Der Baustein IPA-40 ist für den Aufbau eines HiFi-Ver-
stärkers mittlerer Leistung konzipiert. Zum Betrieb wird
eine Gleichspannung von 8–18 V benötigt. Für eine
Sinusausgangsleistung von 28 W sind 14,4 V erforderlich.
Die Stromaufnahme beträgt hierbei max. 3,1 A.
Sicherheitshinweise
Der Anschluss eines Netztransformators an die 230-V-
Netzspannung muss fachgemäß entsprechend den
VDE-Vorschriften bzw. den landesbezogenen Sicher-
heitsvorschriften ausgeführt werden.
Alle Teile, an denen nichtisoliert eine Spannung von
mehr als 42 V anliegt, müssen einen Abstand von min-
destens 8 mm zu einem Metallgehäuse haben.
Der Baustein ist nach der EMV-Richtlinie 89/336/EWG
aufgebaut (EMV = Elektromagnetische Verträglichkeit).
Damit der Baustein auch im Betrieb diese Richtlinie
erfüllt, muss er in ein abgeschirmtes Gehäuse einge-
setzt und der Eingang über eine abgeschirmte Leitung
angeschlossen werden. Wird die EMV-Richtlinie nicht
eingehalten, erlischt die Konformitätserklärung.
Wird der Baustein zweckentfremdet, falsch angeschlos-
sen oder nicht fachgerecht repariert, kann für eventuel-
le Schäden keine Haftung übernommen werden.
Soll der Baustein endgültig aus dem Betrieb genom-
men werden, übergeben Sie ihn zur Entsorgung einem
örtlichen Recyclingbetrieb.
Aufbau
Für den Aufbau eines Netzteils wird aus dem
MONACOR-Programm der Transformator RKTM-5010
vorgeschlagen. Die Verdrahtung ist in den Abbildungen
dargestellt und kann bei der Verwendung anderer Bau-
elemente abweichen.
Bei der gesamten Verdrahtung ist auf möglichst kurze
Verbindungen zu achten. Für den Anschluss des Ein-
gangs IN eine abgeschirmte Leitung verwenden. Der
Anschluss STB muss an die Betriebsspannung gelegt
werden, anderenfalls ist der Ausgang stummgeschaltet.

Applications
The module IPA-40 is suitable to build a HiFi amplifier of
medium power. A DC voltage of 8–18 V is required for the
operation. For an output power of 28 W
necessary. In this case the current consumption is max.
3.1 A.
Safety Notes
The connection of a mains transformer to the 230 V~
mains voltage must be carried out by authorized per-
sonnel according to the German VDE directives resp.
according to the safety regulations of the respective
country.
All parts which carry a voltage of more than 42 V with-
out being insulated must have a distance of at least
8 mm to a metal housing.
The module has been constructed according to the
EMC directive 89/336/EEC (EMC = electromagnetic
compatibility). To conform to this directive also while in
operation, the module must be placed in a shielded
housing and the input must be connected via a shield-
ed cable. If the EMC directive is not complied with, the
declaration of conformity does no longer apply.
If the module is used for purposes other than originally
intended, if it is connected in the wrong way or not
repaired by authorized skilled personnel, no liability can
be taken over for possible damage.
If the module is to be put out of operation definitively,
bring it to a local recycling plant for disposal.
Construction
For the construction of a power supply unit the transfor-
mer RKTM-5010 of the MONACOR programme is recom-
mended. The wiring is shown in the figures and may be
different if other parts are used.
Take care that the complete wiring is as short as pos-
sible. For the connection of the input IN use a shielded
cable. The connection STB must carry the operating volt-
age, otherwise the output is muted.

Achtung!
Beim Anschluss der Elkos CL1 und CL2 sorgfältig auf
die richtige Polung achten. Falsch gepolte Elkos kön-
nen explodieren.
Keiner der beiden Lautsprecherausgänge darf mit
Masse verbunden werden (Brückenschaltung).
Wird dem Baustein eine höhere Leistung als 28 W
Sinus entnommen (z. B. bei einer Betriebsspannung
von 18 V), muss ein größerer Kühlkörper oder zusätz-
lich ein Lüfter verwendet werden.

Attention!
While connecting the electrolytic capacitors CL1 and
CL2 carefully watch the correct polarity. In case of
wrong polarity the electrolytic capacitors may explode.
None of both speaker output terminals must be
, 14.4 V are connected to ground (bridge circuit).
