LED Panel
These instructions are intended for installers
with the corresponding technical knowledge.
Please read the instructions carefully prior to
installation and keep them for later reference.
1 Applications
This LED panel is specially designed for installa-
tion into suspended ceilings. For suspended instal-
lation, the suspension set LEDP2-6HOLD is avail-
able.
Compared to conventional light panels, LED panels
offer the following advantages:
— power saving
— longer life
— less heat output
— free from mercury, no ultraviolet radiation or
infrared radiation
— no flickering, instant start
Note: The LED panel is not suitable for damp loca-
tions. It will not be possible to replace individual
LEDs in the panel.
2 Important Notes
The LED panel corresponds to all relevant direc-
tives of the EU and is therefore marked with
G
The LED panel is suitable for indoor use only.
Protect it against dripping water and splash
water, high air humidity and heat (admissible
ambient temperature range 0 – 40 °C).
G
For cleaning the plastic panel only use a soft
cloth, dry or slightly wet. Never use abrasive
detergents or chemicals.

No guarantee claims for the LED panel and no
liability for any resulting personal damage or
material damage will be accepted if the LED
panel is used for other purposes than originally
intended or if it is not correctly installed.
If the LED panel is to be put out of opera-
tion definitively, take it to a local recycling
plant for a disposal which is not harmful to
the environment.
3 Installation
3.1 Installation into suspended ceilings
Install the LED panel into the ceiling grid.
3.2 Suspended installation
For suspended installation, use the suspension set
LEDP2-6HOLD. For installation of the panel
LEDP2-312 / NWS, two sets are required.
1) Unscrew the four screws (a) in the corners next
to the unused holes (fig. 1).
2) Use the 8 screws (4 × 10 mm) provided to fas-
ten the four mounting brackets (b) to the panel
frame (fig. 2). Panel LEDP2-312 / NWS: Fasten
an additional pair of brackets in the middle of the
frame so that the frame will not sag.
.
3) Attach the steel ropes to the brackets (fig. 3).
4) Unscrew the lower part (d) of each rope support
and screw the upper parts (c) into the ceiling
(fig. 4) with a corresponding distance between
the parts.
5) Screw the lower parts (d) with the attached
panel into the upper parts (c) mounted on the
ceiling.

6) To adjust the desired rope length and to align
the LED panel horizontally, seize each rope one
after the other. Slightly push the sleeve (e) into
the support and push the rope into the sleeve (to
reduce the rope length) or pull the rope from the
sleeve (to increase the rope length). When the
sleeve is released, the rope will be clamped in
position.
7) If necessary, cut off the protruding end of the
rope.
4 Electrical Connection
Electrical connection must only be made by skilled
personnel! A constant current power supply unit
