1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten
Diese hochauflösende Farbkamera ist speziell für den
Einsatz in Video-Überwachungsanlagen (CCTV) kon-
zipiert. Sie verfügt über ein Objektiv mit variabler
Brennweite (4 – 9 mm), eine Verstärkungsregelung
(AGC) und einen automatischen elektronischen Ver-
schluss (Shutter). Durch ihr wetterfestes Gehäuse
(IP 66) ist sie auch fu ̈ r Außeninstallationen geeignet.
2 Wichtige Hinweise für den Gebrauch
Die Kamera entspricht allen erforderlichen Richtlinien
der EU und deshalb mit gekennzeichnet.
Das Kameragehäuse ist wetterfest, jedoch nicht
G absolut wasserdicht. Tauchen Sie darum die
Kamera nicht in Wasser ein.
Schützen Sie die Kamera vor extremen Temperatu-

ren (zulässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich 0 – 40 °C).
Verwenden Sie fu ̈ r die Reinigung der Kamera keine

scharfen Reinigungsmittel oder Chemikalien.
Wird die Kamera zweckentfremdet, falsch installiert

oder nicht fachgerecht repariert, kann keine Haftung
für daraus resultierende Sach- oder Personenschä-
den und keine Garantie für die Kamera übernom-
men werden.

1 Applications
This high-resolution colour camera is specially de-
signed for video surveillance systems (CCTV). It is
equipped with a zoom lens (4 – 9 mm), an automatic
gain control (AGC), and an automatic electronic shut-
ter. Due to its weatherproof body (IP 66), it is also
suited for outdoor installation.
2 Important Notes
This camera corresponds to all required directives of
the EU and is therefore marked with
The camera body is waterproof, however, not com-

pletely watertight. Therefore, do not immerse the
camera in water.
Protect the camera against extreme temperatures
G (admissible ambient temperature range 0 – 40 °C).
Never use aggressive detergents or chemicals for
G cleaning the camera.
No guarantee claims for the camera and no liability
G
for any resulting personal damage or material dam-
age will be accepted if the camera is used for other
purposes than originally intended, if it is not correctly
installed or not repaired in an expert way.

3 Inbetriebnahme
Wichtig! Die Anschlusskupplungen (1, 2) und der
Kabelverteiler (3) sind nicht wetterfest. Bei einem
Außenanschluss mu ̈ ssen sie entsprechend geschu ̈ tzt
werden.
1) Das Sonnendach (7) entfernen.
2) Die BNC-Kupplung (1) über ein 75-Ω-Koaxialkabel
mit dem Videoeingang eines Monitors verbinden.
Dabei auf den korrekten 75-Ω-Abschluss am Moni-
tor bzw. bei einer Serienschaltung am letzten Moni-
tor achten. Bei einer Kabellänge von mehr als
100 m sollte zum Ausgleich von Pegelverlusten
durch das Kabel ein Videoverstärker (z. B. TW-
200SET von MONACOR) zwischen die Kamera und
das lange Kabel geschaltet werden.
3) An die Kleinspannungskupplung (2) ein stabilisiertes
12-V-Netzgerät mit einer Dauerbelastbarkeit von
150 mA anschließen (z. B. PS-500ST von MONA-
COR). Es wird ein Stecker mit den Abmessungen
5,5/2,1 mm (Außen-/Innendurchmesser) benötigt.
Am Innenkontakt muss der Pluspol anliegen.
4) Nach dem Anlegen der Betriebsspannung den Moni-
tor einschalten und durch Ausrichten der Kamera auf

3 Operation
Important! The inline jacks (1, 2) and the cable dis-
tributor (3) are not weatherproof; in case of outdoor
installation protect them accordingly.
1) Remove the sunshield (7).
2) Connect the BNC inline jack (1) via a 75 Ω coaxial
cable to the video input of a monitor. Observe the
correct 75 Ω termination at the monitor or, in case
.
of a series connection, at the last monitor. With a
cable length exceeding 100 m, insert a video ampli-
fier (e. g. TW-200SET by MONACOR) between the
camera and the long cable to compensate level
loss by the cable.
3) Connect a regulated 12 V power supply unit with a
permanent current rating of 150 mA (e. g. PS-500ST
by MONACOR) to the low voltage inline jack (2). A
plug of the dimensions 5.5/2.1 mm (outside/inside
diameter) is required. The positive pole must be at
the inner contact.
4) After applying the operating voltage switch on the
monitor and determine the optimum mounting

den Überwachungsbereich die optimale Montage-
stelle fu ̈ r sie feststellen. An dieser Stelle die Kamera
u ̈ ber den Kamerahalter festschrauben. Nach der
Montage die Schraube (4) am Kamerahalter lösen,
die Kamera in die gewu ̈ nschte Stellung bewegen
und die Schraube wieder festziehen.
5) Mit dem Zoom-Einstellring (5) den Bildausschnitt
einstellen und mit dem Fokus-Einstellring (6) das
Bild auf dem Monitor scharf stellen.
6) Bei Bedarf das Sonnendach (7) zum Schutz gegen
Niederschläge und direkte Lichteinstrahlung wie-
der aufsetzen.

place for the camera by aligning it to the surveil-
lance zone. Screw the camera to this place via the
camera support. After installation, release the
screw (4) on the camera support, position the cam-
era as desired, then fasten the screw again.
5) Use the zoom ring (5) to adjust the angle of view
and the focus ring (6) to adjust a clear picture on the
monitor.
6) If required, replace the sunshield (7) to protect the
camera against precipitation and direct light.
