1 Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Diese Farbkamera ist speziell für den Einsatz in Videoüber-
wachungsanlagen (CCTV) konzipiert. Sie verfügt über ein
3,6-mm-Objektiv, einen automatischen elektronischen Ver-
schluss (Shutter), eine automatische Verstärkungsregelung
(AGC) und einen automatischen Weißabgleich.
2 Wichtige Hinweise für den Gebrauch
Die Kamera entspricht allen erforderlichen Richtlinien der
EU und ist deshalb mit gekennzeichnet.

Die Kamera ist nur zur Verwendung im Innenbereich ge -
eignet. Schützen Sie sie vor Tropf- und Spritzwasser,
hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit und Hitze (zulässiger Einsatztem-
peraturbereich 0 – 40 °C).

Berühren Sie das Objektiv nicht mit den Fingern und ver-
wenden Sie für die Reinigung nur Mittel spe ziell für opti-
sche Linsen.

Reinigen Sie das Gehäuse nur mit einem weichen, tro-
ckenen Tuch, niemals mit Chemikalien oder Wasser.

Wird die Kamera zweckentfremdet, falsch installiert oder
nicht fachgerecht repariert, kann keine Haftung für
daraus resultierende Sach- oder Personenschäden und
keine Garantie für die Kamera übernommen werden.
Soll die Kamera endgültig aus dem Betrieb ge -
nommen werden, übergeben Sie sie zur umwelt-
freundlichen Entsorgung einem örtlichen Recyc-
lingbetrieb.

Please read these operating instructions carefully prior to
operating the unit and keep them for later use.
1 Applications
This colour camera is especially designed for use in video
surveillance systems (CCTV). It is equipped with a 3.6 mm
lens, automatic electronic shutter, automatic gain control
(AGC), and automatic white balance.
2 Important Notes
The camera corresponds to all required directives of the EU
and is therefore marked with .

The camera is suitable for indoor use only. Protect it
against dripping water and splash water, high air humidi-
ty, and heat (admissible ambient temperature range
0 – 40 °C).

Do not touch the lens with your fingers and for cleaning
only use specific cleaning agents for optical lenses.

For cleaning the housing only use a dry, soft cloth, never
use chemicals or water.
G
No guarantee claims for the camera and no liability for
any resulting personal damage or material damage will
be accepted if the camera is used for other purposes than
originally intended, if it is not correctly installed, or not
repaired in an expert way.
If the camera is to be put out of operation defini-
tively, take it to a local recycling plant for a dis-
posal which is not harmful to the environment.

3 Inbetriebnahme
3.1 Montage
1) Die Kamerakuppel (6) soweit drehen, bis sie ausrastet
und abgenommen werden kann.
2) Um die optimale Montagestelle festzustellen, einen Pro-
bebetrieb nach Kapitel 3.2 vornehmen.
3) An geeigneter Stelle die vier Montagelöcher (1) und das
Loch für das An schluss kabel anzeichnen und bohren.
4) Den Kamerasockel (5) festschrauben.
3.2 Kamera anschließen und ausrichten
1) Das Videosignal am BNC-Stecker (8) über ein abge-
schirmtes Kabel auf den Videoeingang eines Monitors
geben. Bei einer Kabellänge über 100 m sollte zum Aus-
gleich von Pegelverlusten durch das Kabel ein Video-
verstärker (z. B. TW-100SET von MONACOR) zwischen
Kamera und Kabel ge schaltet werden.
2) An die Kleinspannungskupplung (7) ein stabilisiertes
12-V-Netzgerät anschließen (Belastbarkeit 150 mA),
z. B. PS-500ST von MONACOR. Es wird ein Kleinspan-
nungsstecker 5,5/2,1 mm (Außen-/Innendurchmesser)
be nötigt. Unbedingt auf die richtige Polung achten: Den
Pluspol an den Mittelkontakt des Steckers anlegen.
3) Den Objektivschutz abnehmen. Die Kamera durch Dre-
hen und Neigen optimal auf den Überwachungsbereich
ausrichten (Kontrolle über den an geschlossenen Moni-
tor). Bei Bedarf die Schrauben (3) der Halterung lösen
und nach dem Ausrichten wieder festziehen.
4) Wird das zu überwachende Objekt unscharf ab ge bildet,
die Fokuseinstellung durch Drehen des Objektivs (4) kor-
rigieren.
3 Operation
3.1 Mounting
1) Turn the camera dome (6) so far until it disengages and
can be removed.
2) To find the optimum place of mounting, make a trial run
according to chapter 3.2.
3) Mark the four mounting holes (1) and the hole for the
connection cable at a suitable place and drill the holes.
4) Tightly screw the camera base (5).
3.2 Connecting and aligning the camera
1) Feed the video signal at the BNC plug (8) via a screened
cable to the video input of a monitor. With a cable length
of more than 100 m a video amplifier (e. g. TW-100SET
from MONACOR) should be inserted between camera
and cable to compensate level loss by the cable.
2) Connect a regulated 12 V power supply unit to the
low-voltage inline jack (7) [current rating 150 mA], e. g.
PS-500ST from MONACOR. A low-voltage plug
5.5/2.1 mm (outside/inside diameter) is required. Ob -
serve the correct polarity in any case: Apply the positive
pole to the centre contact of the plug.
3) Remove the lens protection. By turning and inclining
adjust the camera to the surveillance area in an optimum
way (check via the connected monitor). If required,
release the screws (3) of the support and retighten them
after the alignment.
4) If the object to be monitored is not in focus, readjust the
focus setting by turning the lens (4).

5) Die Kamerakuppel so auf den Sockel stecken, dass die
drei Haltenasen der Kuppel in die drei Nuten (2) des
Sockels fassen. Die Kuppel dann soweit drehen, dass
die Kamera durch das Sichtfenster blickt.

5) Place the camera dome on the base so that the three
latches of the dome engage in the three grooves (2) of
the base. Then turn the dome so that the camera looks
through the visual opening.
