TV-CCD-S/W-Kamera
Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Die Schwarzweißkamera TVCCD-240 ist speziell für
den Einsatz in Überwachungs- und Alarmanlagen
konzipiert und läßt sich dank ihrer geringen Abmes-
sungen einfach an jeder beliebigen Stelle montieren.

TV-CCD Black/White Camera
Applications
The black/white camera TVCCD-240 has especially
been designed to be used in monitoring and alarm
systems and due to its small dimensions it can easily
be mounted at any desired place.
For the wall resp. ceiling mounting the camera
holder TVH-240/SW is included in the delivery. Due
to the pan/tilt hinge to be fixed of the camera holder
it is possible to adjust the inclination as well as the
visual direction of the camera.
Safety Notes
The camera corresponds to the directive for elec-
tromagnetic compatibility 89/336/EEC.
The camera is only suitable for use inside dry
rooms. In case of outside mounting the camera
must be placed into a weatherproof protection
housing.
Protect the camera against humidity and heat (per-
missible operating temperature range 0-40 °C).
The CCD image sensor chip and the lenses of the
lens assembly must be protected against dust or
other impurities and must not be touched with the
fingers in any case.
For the cleaning only use a dry cloth, by no means
chemicals or water.
If the camera is used for purposes other than orig-
inally intended, if it is connected in the wrong way
or not repaired by skilled personnel, no liability can
be taken over for possible damage.
Setting into Operation
1) All lenses with a C or CS mount can be used.
Remove the protection cover to screw on the lens.
- If a lens with a C mount is used, screw the lens
on the adaptor ring at the lens thread.

Inbetriebnahme
1) Es lassen sich alle Objektive mit C-Mount- und
CS-Mount-Gewinde verwenden. Zum Aufschrau-
ben des Objektivs die Schutzkappe abnehmen.
- Bei Verwendung eines Objektivs mit C-Mount-
Gewinde dieses auf den Adapterring am Objek-
tivgewinde aufschrauben.
- Bei Verwendung eines Objektivs mit CS-Mount-
Gewinde den schwarzen Adapterring abneh-
men, und das Objektiv auf den Gewindering
aufschrauben.
2) Den mitgelieferten Kamerahalter mit den drei bei-
liegenden Montageschrauben an gewünschter
Stelle montieren. Für die Befestigung auf dem
Kamerahalter besitzt die Kamera je ein 6,3-mm-
Fotogewinde (
1
/
") auf der Ober- und Unterseite.
4
Die Kamera auf dem Kamerahalter festschrauben.
3) Die Ausgangsbuchse VIDEO OUT über ein 75-Ω-
Kabel (z.
luste auszugleichen.
Beim Einsatz von mehreren Kameras einen Vi-
deo-Splitter (z. B. MONACOR TVSP-410) oder Ka-
mera-Umschalter (z. B. MONACOR TVS-410/-810)
zwischen die Kameras und den Monitor schalten.
4) Zur Stromversorgung ein elektronisch stabilisier-
tes 12-V-Netzgerät (z. B. MONACOR PS-12CCD
oder PS-128A) an die 12-V-Gleichstrombuchse
anschließen. Die Stromaufnahme beträgt ca.
120 mA. Zum Anschluß an die Stromversorgung
wird ein Stecker 5,5/2,1 mm (Außen-/Innendurch-
messer) benötigt. Am Mittelkontakt des Steckers
muß sich der Pluspol befinden.
- If a lens with a CS mount is used, remove the
black adaptor ring and screw the lens on the
thread ring.
2) Mount the supplied camera holder with the three
included mounting screws at a desired place. The
1
camera is provided with one
/
" thread each at the
4
top and bottom to fix it on the camera holder. Tight-
ly screw the camera on the camera holder.
3) Connect the output jack VIDEO OUT via a 75 Ω
cable (e. g. MONACOR VEC-62/10) with one or
several monitors. Watch the correct 75 Ω termina-
tion at the monitor resp. in case of series connec-
tion at the last monitor. With a cable length of more
than 100 m a video amplifier should be inserted
between camera and cable to compensate for
cable losses.
When using several cameras insert a video
quad processor (e. g. MONACOR TVSP-410) or a
sequential switch for cameras (e. g. MONACOR
TVS-410/-810) between the cameras and the
monitor.
4) For the power supply connect a regulated 12 V
power supply (e. g. MONACOR PS-12CCD or
PS-128A) to the 12 V
jack. The current consump-
tion is approx. 120 mA. For the connection to the
power supply a plug 5.5/2.1 mm (outside/inside
diameter) is necessary. The positive pole must be
at the centre pin of the plug.
Operation
After connecting the supply voltage the camera is
ready for operation.
1) Loosen the setscrew of the camera holder, and
place the camera in an optimum position by turn-
ing and tilting it. By tightening the setscrew fix the
camera in the desired position.
2) Adjust the distance at the lens and set the iris for
the optimum picture reproduction (depth of focus
and gain).
Bedienung
Nach dem Anlegen der Versorgungsspannung ist die
Kamera betriebsbereit.
1) Die Feststellschraube des Kamerahalters lösen, und
die Kamera durch Drehen und Schwenken optimal
ausrichten. Durch Anziehen der Feststellschraube
die Kamera in der gewünschten Stellung arretieren.
2) Am Objektiv die Entfernung einstellen und die
Blende auf optimale Bildwiedergabe (Schärfentie-
fe und Helligkeit) einstellen.
3) Ist bei korrekt eingestellter Entfernung das Bild
unscharf, muß das Auflagemaß korrigiert werden.
Dazu die beiden kleinen Schrauben am Objektiv-
halter lösen. Durch vorsichtiges Verdrehen des
Objektivgewinderings ein scharfes Bild einstellen.
Anschließend die Schrauben wieder festdrehen.
