bottom.
f) Check the door seal for damage.
– The door seal should not exhibit any mechanical

Cleaning steps with cooling function
switched off
a) Move the goods to another appliance with the
same product temperature class.
b) Switch off the cooling function [see } Chapter 5]
c) Open the door at an opening angle of 90°.
d) Lift and remove the display shelves including the
price labelling rail. Clean prior to reinstalling.
e) Raise and remove the mesh baskets.Clean prior
to reinstalling.
f) Lift and remove or reinstall the bottom shelf only
with the aid of the round recess.

g) Raise and remove the bottom shelf. Clean prior to
reinstalling.
h) Remove the return air grille. Clean prior to rein-
stalling.

i) Bring the appliance to room temperature.
j) Remove food and packaging residues.
k) Clean the surfaces inside.
l) Dry all cleaned parts and surfaces.
m)Insert the cleaned return air grille.
n) Insert cleaned bottom shelves.

CAUTION
Incorrect installation of the display
shelves or mesh baskets.
Risk of injury due to falling of the display
shelves holding goods or the mesh baskets.
§ Display shelves or mesh baskets must
fully engage in the openings provided
when inserted.
§ Note installation of the display shelves or
mesh baskets [see } Chapter 8].
o) Attach cleaned display shelves.
p) Attach the cleaned mesh baskets.
q) Clean the glass surfaces.
Safety when handling glass [see } Chapter 2.3].
r) Also clean the associated plastic surfaces and
seals. Do not apply large amounts of cleaning
agent to these surfaces to be cleaned.
s) Close the doors properly.
t) Clean the floor around the appliance
Restarting is the same as regular start-up
[see } Chapter 9].
NOTICE
Property damage due to misuse.
§ Only add goods to the appliance once the spe-
cified temperature for the product has been
reached.
u) Check the temperature display on the interior ther-
mometer [see } Chapter 5.1].

11.1.2 Main cleaning

The main cleaning is an intensive cleaning procedure.
Responsibility
– Qualified staff
Cleaning interval
– At least once a year, or
– according to separate maintenance agreement
between AHT and customer.
Cleaning steps
Follow the cleaning instructions.
These instructions are available from qualified staff
and cleaning companies authorised by AHT.
If the condenser coil is not cleaned once per year, this
can considerably reduce the efficiency of the appli-
ance.
12 Maintenance, service and
repairs
Only qualified staff may carry out maintenance, ser-
vice, and repair work, including the following functional
test.
In the event of questions relating to maintenance, con-
tact the maintenance service [see } Chapter 12.4].
