Cleaning agents and equipment
All cleaning equipment must be clean.
NOTICE
Material damage due to use of incorrect
cleaning agent.
§ Do not use abrasive or chemically aggressive de-
tergents/solvents.
§ Do not use any alkaline detergents or acids.
§ Do not spray or spill any liquids on the inside of
the glass.
Material damage due to use of incorrect
cleaning equipment.
§ Do not use hard, pointed objects such as steel
blades.
§ Do not use hard, coarse cleaning equipment such
as steel wool or paper towels.
§ Glass surfaces: Do not use microfibre cloths.
§ Glass surfaces: Do not use glass pullers (squee-
gees with rubber lips).
§ Glass surfaces: Do not use absorbent sponge
cloths or sponges.
Material damage due to incorrect cleaning
§ No cleaning agent residues may remain on plastic
surfaces and seals.
§ Always subsequently clean plastic surfaces and
seals with clean water.
§ During cleaning, do not rub internal glass surfaces
strongly.
WARNING
Using cleaning agents containing alco-
hol Highly flammable.
Fire hazard.
§ Observe the safety and disposal instruc-
tions on the cleaning agent.
§ Observe the safety data sheet.
§ Keep ignition sources away (heat, sparks,
open flames, hot surfaces).
CAUTION
Skin contact with cleaning agents that
contain alcohol.

Cleaning steps
NOTICE
Material damage if hard clothing parts (rivets,
buttons, etc.) come into contact with
internal glass surfaces.
Destruction of the coating and consequent impairment
of the function.
§ Do not hold the door open using your body or ob-
jects.
Cleaning steps during operation
Exterior
a) Clean the outside of the appliance surfaces.
b) Clean the outside of the glass surfaces.
Safety when handling glass [see } Chapter 2.3].
c) Also clean the associated plastic surfaces and
seals. Do not apply large amounts of cleaning
agent to these surfaces to be cleaned.
d) Dry all cleaned parts and surfaces.
e) Clean the floor around the appliance
Interior
a) Move the goods to another appliance with the
same product temperature class.
b) Carry out cleaning quickly. Only open doors
briefly.
c) Open the door at an opening angle of 90°.
d) Remove food and packaging residues.
