Code Fiat (über CAN - Bus mit Bordcomputer)
Die Autoradio Fiat Punto CC/CD/MP3 besitzt einen Comfort
Diebstahlschutz. Dabei kommuniziert das Gerät nur noch mit dem
Bordcomputer des Fiat Fahrzeuges, mit dem es ausgeliefert wurde.
So ist z.B. beim Abklemmen der Autobatterie, sowie beim Aus- und
Wiedereinbau in dasselbe Fahrzeug, keine Codeeingabe erforder-
lich.
Zur Information:
Wenn das Autoradio von einem Fiat Fahrzeug mit CAN - Bus in ein
anderes Fiat Fahrzeug mit CAN - Bus eingebaut wird, ist folgende
Vorgehensweise zu beachten:
1. Das Display zeigt für 1 Sekunde "CHECK".
2. Die Anzeige wechselt für 1 Sekunde auf "CODE".
3. Danach erscheint "_ _ _ _".
4. Geben Sie den 4-stelligen Mastercode aus dem Autoradiopass
ein.
Beispiel:
Die einzugebende Code-Nummer lautet 4 1 4 1
(Drücken Sie die Stationstaste 4 )
(Drücken Sie die Stationstaste 1 )
(Drücken Sie die Stationstaste 4 )
(Drücken Sie die Stationstaste 1 )
5. Für 1 Sekunde erscheint "IDENTIFY" im Display.
Danach ist das Gerät betriebsbereit.

The Fiat CC/CD/MP3 car radio is equipped with a convenient theft-
protection function, whereby the set only communicates with the on-
board computer of the Fiat vehicle in which it is built into.
As a result, the code no longer has to be re-entered e.g. after
having disconnected the battery or after having removed and re-
installed the equipment from/into the vehicle.

The following procedure has to be observed when mounting the
radio from one Fiat vehicle equipped with a CAN bus into another
Fiat vehicle equipped with a CAN bus:
1. The display shows „CHECK" for one second.
2. The display changes to „CODE" for one second.
3. Afterwards the display shows „_ _ _ _".
4. Now enter the 4-digit master code from the car radio passport.
Example:
The code number might be 4 1 4 1

5. „IDENTIFY" appears in the display for one second. Afterwards
