3.5 Lagerung
Die Kugelhähne sind an geeignetem Ort zu lagern, d.h.
trocken, sauber und frei von schädlicher Atmosphäre. Es
ist ratsam, die Schutzkappen nicht zu entfernen, um so
den Armatureninnenraum und die Anschlussflächen oder
Gewinde zu schützen.
In der Regel wird der Kugelhahn in OFFEN-Stellung ge-
lagert – wie angeliefert.
3.6 Transport zum Einbauort
Es gelten die Anweisungen wie unter 3.3.
4 Typenschild: Identifikation des Kugel-
hahns
Das dauerhaft an der Armatur befestigte Typenschild
zeigt die wichtigsten Informationen zum Kugelhahn
bezüglich Auslegung und Einsatz.
Die Armatur darf nicht in Betrieb genommen werden,
wenn das Typenschild fehlt oder unleserlich ist.

Bei nicht metallischen Dichtungswerkstoffen
müssen temperaturabhängige Grenzwerte für
die Druckbeanspruchung beachtet werden:
S. „Druck-Temperatur-Diagramm für Kugel-
dichtungen" im Anhang zu dieser Anleitung.

3.5 Storage
Ball valves must be stored in a suitable place, dry and
free from dirt or detrimental atmosphere. It is advisable
not to remove the protective caps in order to protect the
valve interior and the connection sealing surfaces or
threads.
As a rule, the ball valve is to be stored in the OPEN posi-
tion - as supplied.
3.6 Transport to Assembly and Utilization Site
Refer to instructions under 3.3.
4 Nameplate: Valve Identification
The manufacturer nameplate permanently affixed to the
ball valve body provides the most important information
regarding the design and use of the ball valve.
If the nameplate is missing or illegible, the ball valve
must not be put into operation.
