1 Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Das Gerät dient zum Aufladen von ein oder zwei NiMH-
oder NiCd-Akkus der Größe Mignon (AA) oder Micro (AAA)
an einem USB-Anschluss. Dabei wird lediglich die Span-
nungsversorgung des USB-Ports genutzt; eine Datenüber-
tragung findet nicht statt.
2 Wichtige Hinweise für den Gebrauch
Das Gerät entspricht allen erforderlichen Richtlinien der
EU und ist deshalb mit gekennzeichnet.
Mit dem Gerät du ̈ rfen nur NiCd- und NiMH-Akkus auf-

geladen werden. Nicht wiederaufladbare Batterien kön-
nen beim Versuch, sie aufzuladen, auslaufen oder ex-
plodieren!
Setzen Sie das Gerät nur im Innenbereich ein. Schützen
G
Sie es vor Feuchtigkeit und Hitze (zulässiger Einsatz-
temperaturbereich 0 – 40 °C).
Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen nur ein trockenes, wei-
G
ches Tuch, niemals Chemikalien oder Wasser.
Wird das Gerät zweckentfremdet, falsch angeschlossen,
G
nicht richtig bedient oder nicht fachgerecht repariert,
kann keine Haftung für daraus resultierende Sach- oder
Personenschäden und keine Garantie für das Gerät
übernommen werden.
Soll das Gerät endgültig aus dem Betrieb ge-
nommen werden, übergeben Sie es zur umwelt-
gerechten Entsorgung einem örtlichen Recyc-
lingbetrieb.
Werfen Sie defekte Akkus nicht in den Hausmu ̈ ll, sondern
geben Sie sie nur in den Sondermu ̈ ll (z. B. Sammelbe-
hälter bei Ihrem Einzelhändler).
3 Bedienung
1) Ein oder zwei Akkus der Größe Mignon oder Micro, die
für Ladeströme bis I = 200 mA geeignet sind, in die
Lademulden (4) einlegen (Polung wie abgebildet!).
Dazu das Unterteil (5) etwas herausziehen.
2) Die Schutzkappe (1) entfernen und das Gerät mit sei-
nem USB-Stecker (2) in einen USB-Port stecken, der
in der Lage ist, einen Strom von 500 mA zu liefern. Die
beiden LEDs (3) zeigen jeweils den Stromfluss an.
3) Zum Beenden des Ladevorgangs das Gerät vom USB-
Anschluss entfernen und die Akkus entnehmen. Ent-
nehmen Sie die Akkus auch, wenn sie sich stark erhit-
zen (mögliche Ursache: Überladung oder Defekt)! Die
Ladedauer ( t ) hängt von der Kapazität ( C ) und dem
Ladezustand der Akkus ab und lässt sich für leere Akkus
ungefähr mit der unten gezeigten Formel bestimmen.
4) Zum Transport die Schutzkappe wieder aufstecken.
Über die Öse (6) lässt sich das Gerät z. B. an einem
Schlüsselbund befestigen.

Please read these operating instructions carefully prior to
operating the unit and keep them for later use.
1 Applications
The unit serves for charging one or two NiMH or NiCd
rechargeable batteries of size AA or size AAA at a USB
connection. Only the voltage supply of the USB port is
used; there is no data transmission.
2 Important Notes
The unit corresponds to all required directives of the EU
and is therefore marked with
Only charge NiCd or NiMH rechargeable batteries with

this unit. Non-rechargeable batteries may leak or ex-
plode when trying to charge them.
The unit is suitable for indoor use only. Protect it against
G
humidity, and heat (admissible ambient temperature
range 0 – 40 °C).
For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, never use chem-
G
icals or water.
No guarantee claims for the unit and no liability for any
G
resulting personal damage or material damage will be
accepted if the unit is used for other purposes than
originally intended, if it is not correctly connected or op-
erated, or not repaired in an expert way.
If the unit is to be put out of operation definitively,
take it to a local recycling plant for a disposal
which is not harmful to the environment.
Do not put defective batteries into the household rubbish
but take them to a special waste disposal (e. g. collective
container at your retailer).
3 Operation
1) Insert one or two rechargeable batteries of size AA or
AAA which are suitable for charging currents up to
I = 200 mA into the recessed charging compartments
(4) [polarity as shown!]. For this purpose slightly extract
the lower part (5).
2) Remove the protection cover (1) and connect the unit
with its USB plug (2) to a USB port capable of supply-
ing a current of up to 500 mA. The two LEDs (3) show
the current flow in each case.
3) To terminate the charging process, remove the unit
from the USB connection and take out the recharge-
able batteries. Also take out the batteries if they get
very hot (possible cause: overcharging or defect)! The
charging time ( t ) depends on the capacity ( C ) and the
charging state of the rechargeable batteries and can
roughly be defined for empty batteries with the formula
shown below.
4) To transport the unit, replace the protection cover. Via
the lug (6) the unit can e. g. be fixed to a bunch of keys.

Veuillez lire la présente notice avec attention avant le

1 Possibilités dʼutilisation
Cet appareil permet de charger de 1 ou 2 accumulateurs
NiMH ou NiCd de type R6 ou R03 sur un port USB. Seule
la tension dʼalimentation du port USB est utilisée ; il nʼy a
pas de transmission de données.
2 Notes importantes
Lʼappareil répond à toutes les directives nécessaires de
lʼUnion Européenne et porte donc le symbole
Seuls des accumulateurs NiCd et NiMH peuvent être

chargés via cet appareil. Des batteries non recharge-
ables pourraient, si on cherche à les charger, couler ou
exploser.
Lʼappareil nʼest conçu que pour une utilisation en inté-

rieur. Protégez-le de lʼhumidité et de la chaleur (tempé-
rature ambiante admissible 0 – 40 °C).
Pour le nettoyage, utilisez un chiffon sec et doux, en
G
aucun cas de produits chimiques ou dʼeau.
Nous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de domma-
G
ges corporels ou matériels résultants si lʼappareil est uti-
lisé dans un but autre que celui pour lequel il a été
conçu, sʼil nʼest pas correctement branché, utilisé ou ré-
paré par une personne habilitée ; en outre, la garantie
deviendrait caduque.
Lorsque lʼappareil est définitivement retiré du
service, vous devez le déposer dans une usine
de recyclage de proximité pour contribuer à son
élimination non polluante.
Ne jetez pas les accumulateurs défectueux ou usagés
dans la poubelle domestique, déposez-les dans un con-
tainer spécifique ou ramenez-les chez votre revendeur.
3 Utilisation
1) Insérez un ou deux accumulateurs de type R6 ou R03
adaptés pour un courant de charge jusquʼà I = 200 mA,
dans les compartiments de charge encastrés (4)
[attention à la polarité comme indiqué]. Pour ce faire,
retirez lentement la partie inférieure (5).
2) Retirez le capot de protection (1) et branchez lʼappareil
avec sa fiche USB mâle (2) dans un port USB pouvant
délivrer un courant de 500 mA. Les deux LEDs (3) indi-
quent dans chaque cas, le flux de courant.
3) Pour terminer le processus de charge, débranchez
lʼappareil du port USB et retirez les accumulateurs. De
même, retirez les accumulateurs sʼils deviennent très
chaud (cause probable : surcharge ou défaut). La
durée de charge ( t ) dépend de la capacité ( C ) et de
lʼétat de charge des accumulateurs et peut être déter-
minée, globalement, pour des accumulateurs vides,
selon la formule mentionnée ci-dessous.
4) Replacez le capot de protection pour transporter lʼap-
pareil. Il peut être fixé à un porte-clé par exemple via
lʼoeillet (6).
