• If the mains connection cable of
this device is damaged, it must

or their customer service or by

MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE

• Disconnect the mains before
servicing or cleaning.
• Use only spare parts and ac-
cessories supplied and recom-
mended by the manufacturer.
• The machine must be checked
regularly and maintained. Have
the machine repaired in a li-
censed workshop.
• When the machine is not being
used, store it out of the reach of
children.

Residual risks

Even if properly operating and han-
dling this electric tool, some residual
risks will remain. Due to its construc-
tion and build, this electric tool may
present the following hazards:
a) Cuts
b) Ear damage if working without
ear protection.
c) Damage to your health caused
by swinging your hands and
arms when operating the appli-
ance for longer periods of time
or if the unit is not held or main-
tained properly.
Warning! During operation,
this electric tool generates an
electromagnetic field which,
under certain circumstances,
may impair the functionality
of active or passive medical

implants. To reduce the risk of
serious or lethal injuries, we
recommend that persons with
medical implants consult their
doctor and the manufacturer
of their medical implant be-
fore operating the machine.

Assembling instructions

To put on the protective cover:
1. Place the protective cover (9)
onto the motor head (12) and fas-
ten it using the two Phillips screws
(16).
Mounting the distance
bracket (flower protection):
2. Pull the spacer apart. Insert the
two open ends of the spacer into
the lateral slots on the lower mo-
tor head (12). The spacer snaps
into two positions.
To put on the auxiliary handle:
3. Unscrew and remove the pre-as-
sembled nut (14) and screw (18)
of the additional handle (15).
4. Pull the ends of the auxiliary
handle (15) apart and slide them
over the handle unit (17).
5. Screw on the auxiliary handle
(15) with the handwheel bolt (18)
and nut (14).

Operation

Caution: risk of injury! Do not
operate the appliance with-
out the protective cover. To
operate the appliance, wear
suitable clothing, eye and ear
protection.
