− Turn the tap off when the hose reel is not
in use.
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the hose reel may
result in damage.
− Make sure that you do not damage any
power cables, wires or pipes during
assembly. Find a mounting site with a
circuit tracer before drilling.
− To avoid frost damage, dismount the
hose reel from the wall and store it in a
dry place.
− Do not run the house around corners
or edges, or along pointed or sharp
objects. The resulting damage may
cause leaks.
− Do not leave the hose in areas where
vehicles are driven. Running over the
hose may cause it to burst.
− Do not open the hose reel casing. The
springs are pre-tensed, they may spring
back.
− Do not remove any screws from casing
parts.
− Make sure that the hose does not
rewind itself. This may cause damages.
− Do not close the hose opening with
your fingers or objects during use.
− Assembly may only be carried out by
experts.
− Stop using the hose reel if the plas-
tic components of the hose reel have
cracks or fissures, or have become
deformed. Only replace damaged com-
ponents with the appropriate original
spare parts.

Initial commissioning

Checking the hose reel and scope of
delivery
Risk of damage!
If you open the packaging carelessly with
a sharp knife or other sharp objects, the
hose reel can quickly become damaged.
− Take great care when opening.
1. Remove the hose reel from the packag-
ing.
2. Check that the contents are complete
(see Fig. A).
3. Check for any apparent damage to the
hose reel or the individual parts. Should
this be the case, do not use the hose
reel.

Assembly

Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the hose reel may
result in damage.
− Make sure that you do not damage any
power cables, wires or pipes during
assembly. Find a mounting site with a
circuit tracer before drilling.
Choosing the mounting site
1. Choose a stable mounting site that can
bear the load.
2. Pay attention to the weight of the hose
reel, including water in the hose (see
chapter ‚Technical data').
3. Choose a mounting site from which the
entire pivot range of the hose box (3)
can be used from 180° (see Fig. B).
4. Measure the distance to the tap and
make sure that the connecting hose (11)
hangs freely when it is connected (see
Fig. C).
Organising the mounting materials
For mounting on a concrete wall or
masonry (see Fig. G)
− Use the screws (10) and dowels (8) sup-
plied. These are only suitable for mount-
ing on brick and concrete walls.
− Please use suitable screws and dowels
for mounting on other materials or plas-
ter thicknesses over 10 mm. Ask your
dealer for suitable dowels and screws
for the relevant wall structure.
Carrying out assembly
1. Mark the drill holes (see Fig. E).
