With the pendulum stroke activated
you can work much faster.

Plunge cuts

Plunge cuts may only be made in soft ma-
terials such as wood, aerated concrete,
plasterboard, etc. However, this requires a
certain amount of practice and is possible
only with short saw blades.
1. Place the saw on the workpiece and
switch it on.
2. Make sure that the front edge of the
bottom plate rests on the surface of the
workpiece.
3. Slowly saw at an angle into the work-
piece, then bring the saw blade into a
vertical position.
4. Continue sawing along the cutting line.
5. Turn off the saw and lift it off the work-
piece after fi nishing work.
Sawing with the
cordless sabre saw
1. Turn on the device. Before switching
the device on, ensure it is not in contact
with the workpiece.
2. Place the footplate (12) on the workpie-
ce.
3. Cut with a uniform forward motion. You
can saw horizontally, diagonally or
vertically.
4. After fi nishing your work, fi rst remove
the saw blade (11.1/11.2) from the
saw cut and then switch the device off.

Working instructions

Wear protective gloves when hand-
ling the saw blade. In this way, you
avoid injury from cuts.
• Clamp the workpiece. Use a clamping
device for small workpieces.
• Draw a line to specify the direction in
which the saw blade is guided.
• Hold the device securely by the handle.
• Set the pendulum stroke on or off.
• Turn on the device.
• Wait until the device has reached full
speed.
• Place the bottom plate (6)/slide shoe
(5)/footplate (12) on the workpiece.
• Do not apply too much pressure. Move
the device slowly. Let the device do the
work.
Excessive pressure may bend and
break the saw blade.
• Before shutting down the device, switch
it off and wait for it to come to a com-
plete standstill.

Cleaning and Servicing

Switch off the device and re-
move the battery before car-
rying out any maintenance
work.
Always wear protective gloves
when handling the saw blade in
order to avoid cutting yourself.
You should have any repair and
maintenance work that is not de-
scribed in these instructions carried
out by our Service Centre. Only use
original parts.

Cleaning

The device must not be
sprayed with water or placed
in water. Otherwise there is
a risk of electric shock.
