the product, do not put it into operation. Damage to the remote control or boat can
lead to operational faults.
• Only operate the product in places where nobody will be endangered, hindered or
disturbed by its operation. The boat may not be used in places like busy waterways,
harbours, canals, environmentally protected areas, fish ponds or close to locks,
weirs, water chutes, power plant inlets or outlets or similar.
• The yacht is only suited to weak to medium wind conditions, not for high wind
situations (storms). It is also not suited to high wave conditions, operation in surf or
on the open sea or in strong currents.
• Operation in waters with weed growth can lead to the rudder becoming blocked.
The keel may also become blocked in weeds which will lead to loss of the model.
• The yacht is not intended for use in salt water. This will lead to corrosion of metal
parts which will render the rudder or similar unusable.

This can lead to unforeseen movements of the model, you may lose the model!
Before you put the boat in the water, check whether the steering is working correctly
and reacts to remote control commands.
• If you ascertain that the steering or the rudder movement is slow (batteries/
rechargeable batteries are empty), turn the boat towards shore immediately.
If the boat stops in the middle of a waterway due to an empty battery, release the
lever on the transmitter and wait about a minute. This may allow the batteries to
recover a little, so that the rudder commands or the operation of the windlass servo
is possible again. Then try to drive the boat to the water's edge.
Never try to swim to the boat. Even experienced swimmers can find unknown
waters dangerous, e.g. due to underwater obstacles, weed or dangerous currents.
Wait until the wind blows the boat to the water's edge.
Do not take any risks in salvaging the boat, there is a risk of death or injury!
