1 Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Der Audioadapter AD-200 eignet sich optimal für
Spracheingabe oder Tonaufnahmen sowie Sprach-
und Musikwiedergabe am Computer. An ihn lassen
sich ein Mikrofon und ein Stereokopfhörer jeweils
über eine 3,5-mm-Klinkenbuchse anschließen. Der
Adapter kann direkt an einen Computer mit USB 1.1-
oder USB 2.0-Schnittstelle angeschlossen werden
und ist durch die Verwendung betriebssystemeigener
Standardtreiber für Audiogeräte sofort einsatzbereit.
2 Wichtige Hinweise für den Gebrauch
Der Audioadapter entspricht allen erforderlichen Richt-
linien der EU und ist deshalb mit
Setzen Sie den Audioadapter nur im Innenbereich
ein. Schützen Sie ihn vor Tropf- und Spritzwasser,
hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit und Hitze (zulässiger Einsatz-
temperaturbereich 0 – 40 °C).
Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen nur ein trockenes,
weiches Tuch, niemals Chemikalien oder Wasser.

geschlossen oder nicht fachgerecht repariert, kann

1 Applications
The audio adapter AD-200 is ideally suited for speech
input or audio recordings and reproduction of speech
and music at the computer. It allows connection of a
microphone and stereo headphones via a 3.5 mm
jack in each case. The adapter can directly be
connected to a computer with USB 1.1 or USB 2.0 in-
terface. It is immediately ready for operation due to
the use of standard drivers of the operating system
which are provided for audio units.
2 Important Notes
The audio adapter corresponds to all required direc-
tives of the EU and is therefore marked with
The audio adapter is suitable for indoor use only.
Protect it against dripping water and splash water,
high air humidity, and heat (admissible ambient
temperature range 0 – 40 °C).
For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, never use
chemicals or water.
No guarantee claims for the audio adapter and no
liability for any resulting personal damage or mate-
rial damage will be accepted if the audio adapter is

3 Inbetriebnahme
1) Den USB-Stecker (6) mit dem USB-Anschluss
eines Computers verbinden; die Betriebsanzeige
(3) leuchtet. Der Mikrofoneingang und der Kopfhö-
rerausgang werden daraufhin vom Betriebssystem
als zwei USB-Audiogeräte (Toneingabe und -aus-
gabe) erkannt.

Gerätetreiber nachinstallieren und den Computer
neu starten.

2) Einen Stereokopfhörer an die Buchse (2) an-
schließen (empfohlene Impedanz ≥ 32 Ω). Mit der
Wipptaste (5) kann über das Betriebssystem des
Computers die Lautstärke eingestellt werden.

3 Operation
1) Connect the USB plug (6) to the USB connection
of a computer; the power LED (3) will light up. Then
the microphone input and the headphone output
will be recognized by the operating system as two
USB audio units (audio input and audio output).
If necessary, install the drivers required by the
operating system and restart the computer.

2) Connect the stereo headphones to jack (2) [re-
commended impedance ≥ 32 Ω]. The volume can
be adjusted with the rocker button (5) via the oper-
ating system of the computer.

3) Ein Mikrofon an die Buchse (1) anschließen. Es
können sowohl dynamische Mikrofone als auch die
als Computerzubehör üblichen Elektret-Mikrofone
angeschlossen werden. Eine für Elektret-Mikro-
fone benötigte Versorgungsspannung steht an der
Buchse zur Verfügung (Steckerspitze). Das Mikro-
fon kann mithilfe der MUTE-Taste (4) stummge-
schaltet werden; die Taste leuchtet dann. Zum
Wiedereinschalten die Taste erneut drücken.

3) Connect a microphone to the jack (1). It is possible
to connect dynamic microphones and standard elec-
tret microphones which are available as computer
accessories. A supply voltage required for electret
microphones is available at the jack (tip of plug).
The microphone can be muted by means of the
MUTE button (4); then the button will light up. To
switch on again, press the button once more.
