Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Prüfen von 1,5-V-Rund- und Knopfzellen und von 9-V-Blockbatterien. Eine andere
Verwendung als zuvor beschrieben, führt zur Beschädigung dieses Produktes. Die
Sicherheitshinweise sind unbedingt zu beachten!
Sicherheitshinweise
Der Batterietester erfüllt die Richtlinie 89/336/EWG. Es ist nur für 1,5V oder 9 V
Gleichspannung zugelassen. Der Batterietester ist kein Spielzeug! Die Polarität ("+" und "-")
darf nicht verwechselt werden.
Gebrauch
Für 1,5-V-Rundzellen muß der (+) Kontaktbügel (geschient, rechts von der Anzeige) ent-
sprechend der Länge der Zelle ausgefahren werden. Halten Sie die Batterie mit "+" nach oben
zwischen den Kontaktbügel und das Testergehäuse. Drücken/ziehen Sie den Kontaktbügel
nach unten, bis eine Anzeige erfolgt.
Für 1,5-V-Knopfzellen (LR44, Renata 397, AG10 usw.) muß der (+) Kontaktbügel (geschient,
rechts von der Anzeige) entsprechend der Höhe der Zelle ausgefahren werden. Halten Sie die
Knopf-Zelle zwischen den Kontaktbügel und das Testergehäuse (vorderer Kontakt). Drücken
/ziehen Sie den Kontaktbügel nach unten, bis eine Anzeige erfolgt.
Für 9-V-Blockbatterien sind die (Knopf-)Kontakte unten am Tester angebracht. Die Polarität
(+ und -) ist hinten am Tester erkennbar. Drücken Sie die 9-V-Blockbatterie polungsrichtig auf
die beiden Kontakte bis eine Anzeige erfolgt.
Befindet sich der Zeiger im grünen Bereich, ist die Batterie in Ordnung
Befindet sich der Zeiger im gelben Bereich, ist die Batterie schwach (nur noch für Verbraucher
mit geringer Stromaufnahme verwendbar)
Befindet sich der Zeiger im roten Bereich, ist die Batterie verbraucht und muß umweltgerecht
entsorgt werden.
Der Batterietester ist absolut wartungsfrei, da er keine auswechselbaren
Teile beinhaltet. Es darf auf keinen Fall geöffnet werden. Auch nicht zu
Reparaturzwecken! Wird das Gerät trotzdem geöffnet erlischt der Garantie-
anspruch.
Die Prüfung und Anzeige erfolgt nur annäherungsweise und bedeutet nicht,
daß die jeweilige Batterie für alle Anwendungen ausreichend Restkapazität
aufweist.

Intended use
Batterytester can test 1,5-V-Round-and button cells (type AA and AAA) and 9-V-Battery
(6LR61).
Any other use as described can lead to damage to this product. The safety instructions have to
be followed without fail!!
Safety instructions
The battery-tester fulfils the statutory guideline 89/336/EWG. Only 1,5V or 9 V direct voltage is
allowed. The battery-tester is no plaything! Do not mix the polarity up ("+" and "-").
Functional description
If you want to test a round-cell 1,5-V (type AA) you have to extend the contact bridge (+) (right
side of the display) the complete length of the cell. Hold the battery with "+" up wards, between
the contact bridge and the tester-case. Push/pull the contact bridge down wards until you see
a measuring on the display.
If you want to test a button cell 1,5-V (LR44, Renata 397, AG10 and so on) you have to extend
the contact bridge (+) (right side of the display) the complete length of the cell. Hold the button
cell between contact bridge and tester-case (contact on the front). Push /pull the contact bridge
down wards until you can see a measuring on the display.
The button contacts for the 9-V-Battery (6LR61) are on the bottom of the tester. You can see
the polarity (+ and -) on the back of the tester. Push the 9-V-Battery (6LR61) with right polarity
against the contact until a measuring is shown on the display.
When indicator is in the green field of the display, the battery is o.k.
When indicator is in the yellow field of the display, the battery is weak and can only be used for
users with a low current consumption.
When indicator is in the red field, the battery is spent and must be waste in a way which is o.k
for our environment. Used batteries of any tape can be returned free of charge both to our sub-
sidiaries and to our headquarters in Hirschau, Germany and, as hitherto, also to communal dis-
posal centres (recycling centres committed to returns).
The battery-tester is absolutely maintenance free, that`s why there is no
exchangeable item on it. Do not open the battery-tester, in any case. It is also
not allowed to open the device for repairing! If you open it although, the
guarantee will no longer be valid.
The test and the shown display is only approximately and doesn't means
that the battery is charged enough for all uses.
