Daily use

Before the first use
Before using the hob for the first time, switch it
on for about 10 minutes at the highest position.

• Never line any part of the appliance with
aluminium foil. Never place plastic or any
other material which may melt in or on the
appliance.

Control knob
Pilot light is activated either of the plates are
switched on, and will remain on until the plates
are switched off.
During this operation, you may smell some un-
pleasant smells, e.g. smell of burnt material.
This is absolutely normal and it is due to the
evaporation of greasy working residues.
These smells will vanish after some time of
working.
