Information on the Disposal of this Equipment and its Batteries
ATTENTION: IF YOU WISH TO DISPOSE OF THIS EQUIPMENT OR ITS
BATTERIES, PLEASE DO NOT USE THE ORDINARY WASTE BIN.
Please be aware that all used electrical and electronic equipment and its batteries must be collected and treated
separately in accordance with the law.
This ensures an environment friendly treatment and recycling of the equipment and the batteries, thus minimizing
disposal of waste into landfill.
Illegal disposal can be harmful to human health and the environment!
Never throw batteries into fireplaces or waters!
The symbol which is shown here appears on batteries and electronic equipment in order to remind you of the
importance of the separate disposal.
If in any doubt, please contact your local authorities for further information.
A - Disposal in countries of the European Union
Batteries
All batteries must be collected at a Battery Collection System which is existing in each country.
This can usually be done by returning them to places where new batteries are sold (shops, repair shops), where you
find collection boxes for used batteries.
Their return is free of charge.
Equipment from private households and small businesses
You must take used electrical and electronic equipment to the local (Munipicial) collection facilities.
Their return is free of charge.
Equipment from business users
Contact your SHARP dealer who will inform you about take-back of the equipment.
You might be charged for the costs for take-back and recycling.
B - Disposal in Switzerland
Equipment from private households and small businesses can be returned to the collection facilities of the SWICO
system; equipment from business users can be returned free of charge to the dealer.
Used batteries are to be returned to a selling point for batteries.
C - Disposal in other countries
If you wish to discard this product or its batteries, please contact your local authorities and ask for the correct method
of disposal.
