10.6. Setting/switching off the timer
You can set a time when the device will switch on and off automatically every day.
 Press the
button to switch the device to standby mode.
 Press and hold the TIMER button until ON TIMER is shown on the display. The
hour display then flashes with the switch-on time.
 Use the  or  buttons to set the required switch-on time. Select the hours first
and confirm by pressing ENTER.
 Then use the  or  buttons to set the minutes and confirm again by pressing
ENTER.
 OFF TIMER appears in the display followed by the switch-off time. The hour dis-
play then flashes with the switch-off time.
 Use the  or  buttons to set the required switch-off time. Select the hours first
and confirm by pressing TIMER.
 Then use the  or buttons to set the minutes and confirm again by pressing
the TIMER button.
 Then use the  or  buttons to select the operating mode to be used when
device is switched on: DAB, FM, CD, USB, BUZZER (buzzer = alarm tone) and
press ENTER to confirm.
 Use the  or  buttons to set the required volume and press ENTER to con-
firm.
The settings are complete. When the timer is switched on, the
on the display. To switch off the timer, proceed as follows:
 In standby mode, briefly press the TIMER button. The

 You can activate the timer with the previously configured settings at any time by
briefly pressing TIMER again.
