I7 Maintenance
The inspection and maintenance intervals
depend on the actual machine operating
conditions (total hours of use) and ambient
conditions (presence of dust, damp, etc.),
therefore precise time intervals cannot be
given. In any case, careful and periodical
machine maintenance is advisable in order to
minimize interruptions of the service.
It is advisable to stipulate a scheduled
preventive maintenance contract with the
After-Sales Service.
I7.1 Preventive maintenance
If required, the After-Sales Service can be
contacted to arrange an equipment technical
maintenance schedule.
I7.2 Cleaning activated carbon fi lters on
customer side
Described below are the operations necessary
to clean the activated carbon fi lters placed in
Zone D (fi g. 2):
• Switch the appliance off by keeping the button
"S" pressed for about 2 seconds.
• Remove the power plug from the main
panel the appliance is connected to.
• Unscrew the pins 1/4 of a turn "

• Wash and rinse the fi lters manually;
• Then leave them to dry completely;
• Refi t the fi lters;
• Secure the fi lters by retightening the screws

I7.3 Defrosting refrigerated drawers
The humidity inside the drawer can condense,
forming frost which reduces the cooling
capacity. To defrost the drawers, proceed as
follows:
• Remove the products from the drawer and, if
necessary, place them in another refrigerator
so that they stay cold;
• Switch off the drawer as described in par.

• Leave the drawer open and wait for the ice
to melt;
• Clean and dry the drawer thoroughly.
I8 Machine disposal
At the end of the product's service life, make
sure it is not dispersed in the environment. The
equipment must be disposed of in compliance
with the current regulations in the country of
use.

removable. Plastic parts are marked with the
letters of the material.
