2. Banks/person security (BPS)
Application in banks
This concept is aimed at providing preventive measures against:
- Intrusion in a bank when it opens with the intention of taking staff as hostages (measures to pre-
vent intruders)
- Taking bank staff as hostages when entering the bank (measures to prevent criminals who inter-
cept staff)
- Damage due to vandalism in banks
Guidelines:
Hold-up and intrusion detection systems as per VdS guidelines with additional functions that monitor
banks by "trapping" intruders for improving risks and preventing damage, issued by the relevant
insurance company.
- Hold-up and intrusion detection system as per VdS guidelines of Class C, SG5 with installation
certificate VdS 2170 or insurance company installation protocol.
- Hold-up and intrusion detection system as per VdS guidelines of Class C, SG5 and monitoring of
banks by "trapping" as per VdS Class B, SG2 with installation certificate(s) VdS 2170 or with an
insurance company installation protocol(s).
- Monitoring of banks by "trapping" as per VdS Class B, SG2 with installation certificate VdS 2170
or withan insurance company installation protocol.
When using the systems outside Germany, please observe the national guidelines!
