5. Lock the quick release levers (5b) by
pressing them towards the handlebar (1).
The quick release levers must rest
against the bar in such a way that tigh-
tening can be carried out with medium
force. Otherwise, the quick release
levers must be turned clockwise for ten-
sioning them or anti-clockwise to loosen
them.
6. Fasten the Bowden cable (3) using a ca-
ble clamp (

Fitting the starter cable

1. Pull the safety bracket (2) towards the
upper handlebar (1) and hold it in this
position.
2. Slowly pull the starter cable by the star-
ter handle (24) towards the bar.
3. Guide the starter cable into the starter
cable guide (25).
4. Release the safety bracket (2).
Removing/attaching the
grass collection box
Caution: Do not run the de-
vice if the grass collection
box or impact protection are
not attached properly. Risk
of injury!
Mounting the net
• Put the plastic straps (28) on the
grass collection box (21) over the
grass collection box rod (29).
Attaching the grass collec-
tion box to the device:
1. Lift the rear impact protection (20).
2. Hold the grass collection box
(21) by the carrying handle (22).
3. Hang the grass collection box
(21) into the grass collection box

Filling the engine oil

Place the device on an even base.
1. Screw off the oil tank cap with dipstick
(19).
2. Fill the engine oil in the oil tank. The
engine oil tank holds 0.5 l of oil. Use
brand-name oil (e.g. SAE 30).
3. Close the oil tank cap (19) again.

Checking the oil level

1. Screw off the oil tank cap with dipstick
(19).
2. Wipe the dipstick (19) using a clean
cloth.
3. Return the oil tank cap with dipstick (19)
back in the oil tank as far as it will go.
4. After removing the dipstick, read the oil
level.
The oil level must be in the marked field
between the minimum and maximum
mark (maximum: 0.5 l engine oil in the
oil tank).
5. Wipe away any spilt engine oil.
6. Close the oil tank cap (19) again.
Each time before you mow, check
the oil level and top up the engine
oil before it reaches the bottom
mark.
