The camera shuts off
automatically
I cannot record video
The camera stops recording
automatically
I connected the camera to my
pc, but I cannot find it in My
Computer
The video does not play on my
TV

There are two possibe causes:
Batteries are empty.
Replace them with new ones.
The memory card is full.
Back up the files on the card to

your pc, then delete files on the
card to create free space.

Insert an empty memory card (see
•
section 7.3 - Memory card
recommendations above).
Make sure there is sufficient free space
on the memory card. The display
indicates how much time there is left for
recording.
Make sure the memory card is not
locked. Make sure the lock switch on the
side of the memory card is in the
correct position.
The memory card is full.
Back up the files on the card to

your pc, then delete files on the
card to create free space.

Make sure that each end of the USB
cable is properly connected.
Make sure the USB port on the pc is
working properly. Try connecting
another USB device and see if it
functions well. If no, the USB port may
be malfunctioning.
Make sure that each end of the video
cable is properly connected.
Make sure that the camera is switched
on.
