17. Attention! The appliance may only be
used with the plug it is compatible with!
18. This appliance may be used by children
over the age of 8 years, as well as by
people of reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and/or knowledge, provided
they are supervised and instructed
in the safe use of the appliance and
understand the possible resulting
dangers. Children must not play with
the appliance. Cleaning and user-
maintenance must not be carried out
by children, unless they are older than
8 years and supervised. Children under
8 years should be kept away from the
appliance and the connection cable.
19. Using external timers or separate
remote control systems to operate the
appliance is prohibited!
20. Do not engage the latch while
operating, only when storing away.
The latch pushes downwards, but
only locks into place when you
press firmly (By doing so, you will
normally hear a click).
21. Always follow the recipe instructions.
Placing too large a quantity in the pan
can lead to a pressure build-up and
leakage of steam and hot foods.
22. Keep arms and body sidewards from
the appliance, not directly above the
cooking surface when opening. When
opening, heat and steam can escape
from the appliance. (Illustr. 1 & 2).
23. Only touch hot surfaces with oven
gloves (Illustr.3).

24. Extreme caution is required when
handling the appliance, if it contains
hot oil or other hot fluids (risk of
splashing).
25. Disconnect the appliance for turning
off. Allow it to completely cool down
before handling, cleaning or putting
away.
26. Keep away from flammable steaming
and fluids. Do not use in the presence
of explosive materials.
27. Store away from water, sources of heat
or open fires. Do not place on or near
a hot gas or electrical appliance or in a
hot oven.
28. The appliance is not suitable for the
dishwasher or oven. Always follow the
cleaning instructions.
29. Do not misuse the cable. Do not pull
the appliance by the cable or pull on
the cable to unplug it.
PLEASE NOTE:
• The device may produce smoke when
used for the first time.
• Remove any packaging residues and
clean the casing of the „Red Copper
5 Minute Chef" with a damp cloth.
• The baking plates should also only
be cleaned with a damp cloth or soft
sponge.
• Grease the baking plates before using
the device for the first time. The non-
stick coating means that this is not
necessary for subsequent use
