A/ Put in the batteries

1° Open the cover on the back of the CV250
2° Insert 2 batteries (LR03 alkaline). Make sure the batteries are the same brand and are NEW
B/ Programme your CV250
1. Turn on the equipment that you wish to control (TV, VCR etc)
2. Take the code book supplied with the CV250 and find the brand of the the equipment you
wish to control. Eg if you have a Thomson TV you look for Thomson under the TV section.
3. Press on the key marked « S » pressing the key until the red LED stays permanently bright.
This takes about 3 seconds.
4. From the code book take the first number corresponding to your brand and enter the
number by pressing the 0-9 key pad. Each time you press a key the red LED will flash.
5. If the number is correctly entered the red LED will switch off. If the number is incorrect
then the red LED will flash fast. If incorrect you will need to begin at 1.
6. Alternative to 5: If your brand is listed hereafter:
Philips/Radiola
Sony/Panasonic/JVC/ Sharp
Akai/Toshiba/Daewoo
Thomson/Brandt
Enter the code corresponding to your brand, point the CV250 in the direction of your equipment,
press once only CHANNEL+ continue to point the CV250 at your equipment until the
equipment changes channel.
