How to Brake (*)
÷ When you press the PLAY/PAUSE button (3/8)in the VINYL mode dur-
ing playback, the VINYL SPEED ADJUST TOUCH/RELEASE dial will
cause a corresponding speed and the sound will stop.
÷ Upon pressing the PLAY/PAUSE button (3/8) again playback will com-
mence and the VINYL SPEED ADJUST TOUCH/RELEASE dial will
respond accordingly.
Quick Return (*)
When the JOG MODE is set to VINYL, pressing the surface of the Jog dial returns
playback instantly to the cue point.
1. Press the JOG MODE VINYL button so that the button
indicator lights.
÷ The Jog dial's [Vinyl] indicator also lights.
2. Press the QUICK RETURN button so that the button
indicator lights.
÷ The [QUICK RETURN] indicator will appear in the display, and the Jog
dial display will shown the flashing cue point position indicator.
3. During playback, press the surface of the Jog dial.
÷ If a cue point has been stored in memory, the playback will return instantly
to the stored cue point; if no cue point has been stored in memory, the
playback will not change.
÷ Playback will also return to the in-point (cue point) if the Jog dial is pressed
during loop playback.
Loop Playback (*)
7 Defining a loop (MANUAL)
1. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button (6) to begin playback.
2. During replay, press the LOOP IN/REALTIME CUE button
at the loop in point.
÷ Note that this operation need not be performed if a prerecorded Cue point is
to be used as the start of the loop.
3. During playback, press the LOOP OUT button at the point
from which you wish to end the loop.
÷ The AUTO BEAT LOOP 8 (MANUAL 1/1) button indicator lights.
÷ Loop play begins between the loop in-point to loop-out point.
7 Shorten the Loop Length (LOOP CUTTER)
When MANUAL mode is used to create a loop during playback or pause, the
AUTO BEAT LOOP 8 (MANUAL 1/1) button will light.
Press one of the AUTO BEAT LOOP buttons (1, 2, 4 or 8).
÷ When the AUTO BEAT LOOP 1 (MANUAL 1/8) button is pressed, the
button indicator lights and loop play begins between the loop-in point to a
point 1/8 of the full length of the original loop.
÷ When the AUTO BEAT LOOP 2 (MANUAL 1/4) button is pressed, the
button indicator lights, and loop play begins between the loop-in point to a
point 1/4 of the full length of the original loop.
÷ When the AUTO BEAT LOOP 4 (MANUAL 1/2) button is pressed, the
button indicator lights, and loop play begins between the loop-in point to a
point 1/2 of the full length of the original loop.
÷ When the AUTO BEAT LOOP 8 (MANUAL 1/1) button is pressed, the
button indicator lights, and loop play begins between the loop-in point to a
point 1/1 (all) of the length of the original loop.

Pour un freinage (*)
÷ Si vous appuyez sur le bouton PLAY/PAUSE (3/8)en mode VINYL
pendant la lecture, la bague VINYL SPEED ADJUST TOUCH/RELEASE
fournira une vitesse correspondante et le son s'arrêtera.
÷ Une nouvelle pression sur le bouton PLAY/PAUSE (3/8) fait commencer
la lecture; la bague VINYL SPEED ADJUST TOUCH/RELEASE agira
en conséquence et la lecture commencera.
Retour rapide (*)
Lorsque le JOG MODE est réglé sur VINYL, une pression sur la surface de la
bague Jog fait revenir instantanément la lecture au point de repérage.
1. Appuyez sur le bouton JOG MODE VINYL de sorte que le
voyant du bouton s'allume.
÷ Le voyant [Vinyl] de la bague Jog s'allume aussi.
2. Appuyez sur le bouton QUICK RETURN de sorte que le
voyant du bouton s'allume.
÷ Le voyant [QUICK RETURN] apparaît sur l'affichage et l'affichage de la
bague Jog fait apparaître le voyant clignotant de la position du point de
repérage.
3. Pendant la lecture, appuyez sur la surface de la bague
Jog.
÷ Si un point de repérage a été mémorisé, la lecture revient automatiquement
à ce point de repérage mémorisé; si aucun point de repérage n'a été
mémorisé, la lecture ne change pas.
÷ La lecture revient aussi au point initial (point de repérage) si la bague Jog
est actionnée pendant la lecture à boucle.
Lecture à boucle (*)
7 Définition d'une boucle (MANUAL)
1. Appuyez sur le bouton PLAY/PAUSE (6) pour commencer
la lecture.
2. Pendant la relecture, appuyez sur le bouton LOOP IN/
REALTIME CUE au point initial de la boucle.
÷ Remarquez que cette démarche n'est pas nécessaire si un Point de repérage
préenregistré sera utilisé comme début de la boucle.
3. Pendant la lecture, appuyez sur le bouton LOOP OUT au
point où vous voulez terminer la boucle.
÷ Le voyant du bouton AUTO BEAT LOOP 8 (MANUAL 1/1) s'allume.
÷ La lecture à boucle commence entre le point initial et le point final de la
boucle.
7 Réduction de la longueur de boucle (Coupe-boucle)
Lorsque le mode MANUAL est utilisé pour créer une boucle pendant la lecture
ou une pause, le bouton AUTO BEAT LOOP 8 (MANUAL 1/1) s'allume.
Appuyez sur un des boutons AUTO BEAT LOOP (1, 2, 4 ou 8).
÷ Lorsque le bouton AUTO BEAT LOOP 1 (MANUAL 1/8) est actionné,
son voyant s'allume et la lecture à boucle s'accomplit entre le point initial
de boucle et un point à 1/8e de la longueur totale de la boucle originale.
÷ Lorsque le bouton AUTO BEAT LOOP 2 (MANUAL 1/4) est actionné,
son voyant s'allume et la lecture à boucle s'accomplit entre le point initial
de boucle et un point à 1/4e de la longueur totale de la boucle originale.
÷ Lorsque le bouton AUTO BEAT LOOP 4 (MANUAL 1/2) est actionné,
son voyant s'allume et la lecture à boucle s'accomplit entre le point initial
de boucle et un point à 1/2 (la moitié) de la longueur totale de la boucle
originale.
÷ Lorsque le bouton AUTO BEAT LOOP 8 (MANUAL 1/1) est actionné,
son voyant s'allume et la lecture à boucle s'accomplit entre le point initial
de boucle et un point à 1/1 (total) de la longueur de la boucle originale.
