7 Setting the Cue point in the VINYL mode
1. During playback, at the point you wish to set as the cue
point, either press and hold the surface of the Jog dial,
or press the PLAY/PAUSE button (6) to enter the
standby mode.
2. While pressing the surface of the Jog dial, turn back the
dial to a point just before the track you wish to play.
3. When the sound is the track you are searching for, press
the CUE button while you are still pressing the surface of
the Jog dial.
÷ When the [CUE] indicator lights up the point will be stored in memory.
÷ When a new Cue point is stored in memory the previous setting will be
erased.
÷ If you set the cue point by pressing and holding to the surface of the Jog
dial, releasing your finger from the Jog dial will cause playback to start
from the selected cue point.
[Amending the Cue point]
1. During playback, press the CUE button.
÷ This will take you back to the set track position.
2. In the VINYL mode, to set the Cue point, go through
steps 2 and 3 as mentioned above.
7 Real-time cue
During playback, press the LOOP IN/REALTIME CUE button at
the desired Cue point.
÷ This point will then be recorded as the new Cue point.
7 Checking cue points (Cue point sampler)
After specifying a cueing point, press the CUE button.
÷ The sound at the specified Cue point will continue to play as long as the
CUE button is pressed.
7 Returning to a Cue point (Back cue)
1. During playback, press the CUE button.
÷ The player will return to the specified Cue point.
2. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button (3/8).
÷ Playback will begin immediately from the specified Cue point.
÷ When the JOG MODE is set to VINYL, playback from the cue point can
also be initiated by pressing and releasing the surface of the Jog dial.
Changing Playback Speed (*)
Pull the TEMPO control slider towards you.
Slide the knob towards you (+) to increase the tempo and slide it away from you
(–) to decrease it.
÷ The rate of change in playback speed (tempo) is shown in the display.
÷ The playback speed can be changed without changing the pitch ( "Apply-
ing Master Tempo").
7 Selecting range of tempo adjustment
Press the TEMPO ±10/±100 WIDE button.
Each time the button is pressed, the variable range of the TEMPO control
slider alternates between ±10% and ±100%. When set to ±10%, the tempo can
be adjusted in units of 0.05%. When set to ±100%, the tempo can be adjusted in
units of 0.5%.
÷ When variable range is set to ±100%, the TEMPO ±10/±100 WIDE
button lights, and the [WIDE] indicator appears in the display.

7 Réglage du Point de référence en mode VINYL
1. Pendant la lecture, au point que vous voulez fixer
comme point de repérage, appuyez et maintenez la
surface de la bague Jog, ou bien appuyez sur le bouton
PLAY/PAUSE (6) pour passer en mode d'attente.
2. En appuyant sur la surface de la bague Jog, ramenez
celle-ci à un point juste avant la piste à reproduire.
3. Lorsque le son est à la plage recherchée, appuyez sur le
bouton CUE tout en appuyant sur la surface de la bague
Jog.
÷ Lorsque le voyant [CUE] s'allume, le point sera mémorisé.
÷ Lorsqu'un nouveau Point de repérage est mémorisé, le précédent est effacé.
÷ Si vous fixez le point de repérage en appuyant sur la surface de la bague
Jog, le fait de retirer le doigt de la bague Jog fera commencer la lecture à
partir du point de repérage sélectionné.
[Modification d'un Point de repérage]
1. Pendant la lecture, appuyez sur le bouton CUE.
÷ Vous repasserez ainsi à la position de plage définie.
2. En mode VINYL, effectuez les étapes 2 et 3 ci-dessus
pour définir le Point de repérage.
7 Repérage en temps réel
Pendant la lecture, appuyez sur le bouton LOOP IN/REALTIME
CUE au Point de repérage voulu.
÷ Ce point sera enregistré comme nouveau Point de repérage.
7 Vérification des points de repérage (Échantillonneur de
point de repérage)
Après avoir spécifié un point de repérage, appuyez sur le bou-
ton CUE.
÷ Le son au Point de repérage spécifié continue, aussi longtemps que le bou-
ton CUE est actionné.
7 Retour au Point de repérage
1. Pendant la lecture, appuyez sur le bouton CUE.
÷ Le lecteur repassera au Point de repérage spécifié.
2. Appuyez sur le bouton PLAY/PAUSE (3/8).
÷ La lecture commence immédiatement au Point de repérage spécifié.
÷ Lorsque le JOG MODE est réglé sur VINYL, la lecture à partir du point de
repérage peut être lancée en appuyant, puis en relâchant la surface de la
bague Jog.
Changement de la vitesse de lecture (*)
Tirez le curseur de commande TEMPO principal vers vous.
Glissez le bouton vers vous (+) pour accroître le tempo, ou glissez-le dans le sens
opposé (–) pour le réduire.
÷ Le degré de changement de la vitesse de lecture (tempo) apparaît sur l'affichage.
÷ Vous pouvez changer la vitesse de lecture sans modifier la hauteur tonale
( "Application du Tempo principal".)
7 Sélection de la plage de réglage de tempo
Appuyez sur le bouton TEMPO ±10/±100 WIDE.
Chaque fois que le bouton est actionné, la plage variable du curseur de
commande TEMPO alterne entre ±10% et ±100%. Lors d'un réglage à ±10%,
le tempo peut être ajusté par unité de 0,05%.Lors d'un réglage à ±100%, il peut
l'être par unité de 0,5%.
÷ Lorsque la plage variable est réglée à ±100%, le bouton TEMPO ±10/
±100 WIDE s'allume et le voyant [WIDE] apparaît sur l'affichage.
