1. Insert the mains plug into a correctly installed safety socket (230 V, 50 Hz). The
red control lamp lights up.
2. Keep the baking unit closed during the warming-up time. When both control
lamps light up, the baking temperature has been reached.
3. Open the lid and insert an untoasted sandwich into each section. Close the
cover delicately. Lock the handle with the hinge.
4. After a few seconds only the red control lamp lights up and the green one goes
off.
5. The toasting time depends on personal taste. Normal browning has been rea-
ched, however, when the green control lamp goes on again.
6. Open the lid and remove the slices of toast with a wooden fork or the like. Do
not use pointed or sharp objects to avoid damaging the coating of the baking
surfaces.
7. The baking section should always be closed in the intervals between baking.
Our tip: Lightly spread the outside of the bread (the side coming into contact with
the toasting surfaces) with butter or margarine. That way your sandwich can be
easily removed afterwards from the sandwich toaster.
• Pull out the mains plug and allow the unit to cool down.
• Brush away crumbs or remnants of waffles from the baking surfaces.
• Clean the machine only with a slightly damp cloth.
• Do not use abrasive detergents.
This device has been tested according to all relevant current CE guidelines,
such as electromagnetic compatibility and low voltage directives, and has been
constructed in accordance with the latest safety regulations.

on the date of purchase (receipt).
During the life of the guarantee any fault of the device or its accessories *) ascriba-
ble to material or manufacturing defects will be eliminated free of charge by repai-
ring or, at our discretion, by replacing it. The guarantee services do not entail an
extension of the life of the guarantee nor do they give rise to any right to a new
guarantee!
Proof of the guarantee is provided by the proof of purchase. Without proof of
purchase no free replacement or repair will be carried out.
