Replacing the UV filter

For the helmet with the flames
pattern, please proceed as follows:
To replace the UV filter/solar cell, pull the

bracket of the filter over the two protrud-
ing locking pins and outwards (Fig. C). Flip
the bracket upwards (Fig. D). With a finger
centred underneath the filter, lift the filter and
pull it down to remove it. Then remove the

darkening control
welding helmet by simply pulling it and then
release the nut located below. Once you have
released the nut from the thread, you can
completely remove the filter from the welding
helmet.
