Blockage Alarm

There is a blockage in the system. The device continues to operate but may
not provide the prescribed therapy.
Do not pause therapy or power Off device while performing the following steps.
Assess the device after each step. Continue to next step only if alarm remains
unresolved.
1. If one dressing is connected to the device, press Home
to Home screen. Ensure Y-Connect is Off. If Y-Connect is On, contact your
healthcare provider.
2. Ensure all connectors and tubing are free of any obstructions or kinks.
3. Disconnect the canister tubing from the dressing tubing by applying
pressure to the canister quick click connector and gently pulling the
connectors apart. Leave open the tethered cap of canister quick click
connector and close the tethered cap of dressing connector.
• If the alarm continues, the blockage exists within the canister. Replace
the canister. Refer to "Replacing canister" section of manual for details.
Contact your healthcare provider if the alarm returns after restarting
therapy.
• If the alarm resolves, the blockage exists within your wound dressing
or its tubing. Contact your healthcare provider for assistance.
• Status indicator illuminates yellow.
• Audible alarm sounds every
20 seconds.
• Audible alarm may be paused for
approximately 2 minutes.
