INSTRUCTIONS
Electro-mechanical fan-coil thermostat
with heating/cooling switch
and fan speed selector
RRT025A is an electro-mechanical room thermostat for wall moun-
ting. It has an On/Off switch, a heating/cooling switch and a fan
speed selector switch.
It is intended for use with a thermal actuator, a spring-return actua-
tor or a solenoid valve.

Installing
Loosen the cover retaining screw at the top of the unit. Remove the
cover by pulling outwards at the top.
Mount the RRT025A in a suitable location with good air circulation.
The mounting holes have c:c 60 mm distance to fit onto a wallbox.
Wiring
Wire the unit in accordance with the wiring diagram.
N.B. RRT025A can be used for either heating or cooling depending
on the setting of the heating/cooling selector, but not both at the
same time.
Terminal 1 250 V AC in, heating/cooling and fan control
Terminal 2 Fan, intermediate speed
Terminal 3 Fan, low speed
Terminal 4 Neutral
Terminal 5 Heating/Cooling output
Terminal 6 Fan, high speed
NOTE: The fan must be of a type with three separate windings for
High, medium and Low speed.
HEAT/OFF/COOL
In the HEAT position the output on terminal 5 will be activated
when the temperature falls below the setpoint value.
In the COOL position the output on terminal 5 will be activated
when the temperature rises above the setpoint value.
In the OFF position the power is cut both to the thermostat func-
tion and the fan control.

HIGH/MED/LOW Fan speed selector
When in position HIGH the output on terminal 6 will be active.
When in position MED the output on terminal 2 will be active.
When in position LOW the output on terminal 3 will be active.
NOTE: The fan must be of a type with three separate windings
for High, medium and Low speed.
This product conforms with the requirements of European LVD
standards EN 60730-2-9:2002 and carries the CE mark.
