Dear customer, the warranty period for this device
is 3 years from the date of purchase. In the event of
product defects, you have legal rights against the
retailer of this product. Your legal rights are not lim-
ited in any way by our warranty detailed below.

Warranty terms

The warranty period begins on the date of pur-
chase. Please keep the original sales receipt in a
safe location. This document is required as your
proof of purchase.
If a material or manufacturing defect appears in
the product within three years of the date of pur-
chase, we will repair or replace it - at our discretion
- free of charge. This warranty is conditional on the
defective device and the receipt of purchase being
presented within the three year warranty period,

and on there being a brief written description of
the nature of the defect and of the date it arose.
If the defect is covered by our guarantee, you will
get a repaired or new product back. A new guar-
antee period begins with the repair or exchange of
the product.

Extent of warranty

The device has been manufactured according to
strict quality guidelines and thoroughly inspected
before delivery.
The warranty applies to defects in material or
manufacture. This guarantee does not extend to
product parts subject to normal wear and tear
which can therefore be considered as wear items,
or to damaged fragile parts, e.g. switches, batter-
ies or glass parts.
This guarantee becomes void if the product has
been damaged, or used or maintained improperly.
For a proper use of the product, all instructions in
the instructions of use must be strictly complied with.
Uses and actions which are advised or warned
against in the instruction manual should absolutely
be avoided.
The product is intended for private, non-commercial
use. In the event of misuse or improper handling,
or any kind of intervention which has not been
performed by our authorised service office, the
guarantee will lapse.

Processing of warranty claims

In order to ensure that your concern is dealt with
quickly, please comply with the following notes:
Please have your receipt and the item number (e.g.
IAN) ready as proof of purchase.
You can find the item number on the type plate, an
engraving, the title page of your instructions (bot-
tom left), or on the sticker on the back / base.
