Kondensat strömt von der Zulaufleitung
ein und sammelt sich im Behälter (1).
Der Behälter kann sich maximal füllen,
weil ein Druckausgleich über die Ent-
lüftungsleitung (2) erfolgt.
Ein kapazitiver Zweifach-Sensor (3) er-
fasst permanent den Füllstand.
Sobald der Behälter maximal gefüllt ist,
gibt der Sensor ein Signal an die Elek-
tronik (4). Diese betätigt das Magnetven-
til(5), eine großflächige Auslassmembran
öffnet zur Kondensatableitung.
Unter anstehendem Systemdruck (mind.
0,5 bar) fließt die gesamte Kondensat-
menge über die Ablaufleitung (6) ab.
Die Sensorik erfasst dabei die Ab-
strömgeschwindigkeit und steuert über
diesen Parameter die maximale Ventil-
öffnungszeit.
Sollte das Kondensat nicht abfließen,
schließt das Ventil nach ca. 2,5 Sekun-
den, öffnet jedoch nach 2 Sekunden
erneut. Dieser Vorgang wiederholt sich
1 Minute lang.
Durch dieses Ventiltakten versucht die
Automatik, eventuelle Abfluss-Störungen
selbsttätig zu beseitigen.
Bei Nichterfolg schaltet der BEKOMAT
nach dieser Minute in den Alarmmodus:
- Der potentialfreie Kontakt schaltet um
- Die rote LED blinkt
- Das Ventil öffnet alle 4 Minuten
für 7,5 Sekunden.
Ist das Kondensat abgeflossen, schaltet
der BEKOMAT automatisch in den Nor-
malbetriebsmodus zurück.

Condensate flows through the feed line
in and accumulates in the container (1).
The container will be filled unhindered
because of the pressure compensation
by the venting line (2).
A capacitive double sensor (3) continu-
ously registers the liquid level.
As soon as the container is filled at maxi-
mum level, the upper sensor passes a
signal to the electronic control (4). The
pilot valve (5) is activated and a large

diaphragm opens the outlet line (6) for
discharging the condensate.
At regular system pressure (min. 0,5
bar) the entire condensate volume is
discharged via the outlet line.

Because of controlling the outflow velo-
city by the lower sensor, the outlet line (6)
is closed again quickly and tightly without
wasting compressed air.
If there is no outflow of condensate, the
valve closes after 2 seconds.

the BEKOMAT tries to discharge the
condensate and to clear the fault by itself.
If this is not possible within the first
minute, the BEKOMAT switches to the
alarm mode:
- Fault signal "ALARM" is triggered
- valve opens every 4 minutes for
7.5 seconds
When fault is cleared (condensate is
discharged), the BEKOMAT continues
in normal working mode.
