SERVICE POINTS

YPVS valve inspection

1. Eliminate:
Carbon deposits
(with a rounded scraper 1)
CAUTION:
Do not use a sharp instrument to avoid
damaging or scratching the surfaces.
2. Inspect:
YPVS valve assembly
Crack/damage/wear → Replace.

YPVS valve installation

1. Install:
Oil seal
Distance a:
1.0–1.5 mm (0.04–0.06 in)
NOTE:
The oil seal should be installed with the
marks b facing inward.
