OIL INJECTION SYSTEM
2. Adjust:
Oil pump cable
Adjustment steps:
Loosen the locknut 1 and the adjusting
nut 2.
Fully close the carburetor throttle valves.
Adjust the oil pump cable so that the
mark a on the oil pump lever is
aligned with the mark b on the oil
pump body.
Tighten the adjusting nut and locknut.
Oil injection pump air bleeding
NOTE:
Bleed the oil injection system if:
the system has been disassembled, or
the oil has been completely depleted dur-
ing operation.

Air bleeding steps:
Place rags under the oil pump to catch
any oil that might spill.
Disconnect the oil hose from the oil
pump.
Position the end of the oil hose above
the oil tank 1.
Pour at least two liters of oil into the oil
tank and allow it to settle for two min-
utes.
Lower the end of the oil hose and
make sure that oil flows out of it.
Connect the oil hose to the oil pump.
Fasten the oil hose with a plastic lock-
ing tie.
