Throttle valve synchronization inspection
and adjustment
1. Measure:
Throttle valve synchronization
Different clearances → Adjust.
Measuring steps:
Turn the throttle valve lever and open
and close the throttle valves.
Measure the throttle valve clearances a.
2. Adjust:
Throttle valve synchronization
Adjustment steps:
Turn out the idle adjusting screw 1
until its tip is not touching the throttle
valve lever.
NOTE:
Record the set position of the idle adjust-
ing screw (the number of turns out).
Loosen the screws 2.
NOTE:
Make sure that the throttle valves are in
the fully closed position.
Tighten the screws 2.
Turn in the idle adjusting screw so its
tip touches the throttle valve lever.
