1. General
Cleaning unit for gentle cleaning of 3D printed objects. The IMPRIMO
cracks in the object surface, thus increasing its quality.
Different cleaning programs allow for precise matching with the selected material class and choice of the cleaning agent. The easy removable insert
enables quick and clean replacement of the cleaning solution.
2. Safety Instructions
Attention! Please read these notes carefully before connecting and operating the device. The operational safety and functioning of the device can only
be ensured if these safety instructions are observed.
Warning: IMPRIMO Clean solves uncured resin residues from the surface of the printed objects using chemical cleaning agents as IMPRIMO
®
Cleaning Liquid or isopropanol. IMPRIMO
accordance with the manufacturer's information and warnings.
Warning: Use the IMPRIMO
Clean only in well-ventilated areas. Many cleaning agents are flammable and highly volatile. Make sure to store the
®
detergent after use in the appropriate container.
Do not use the Clean IMPRIMO
Attention: The IMPRIMO Clean is powered by an external power supply (12 V) to prevent any kind of manipulation to the unit and thus
®
the risk of electric shock. In case of a malfunction of the device please contact qualified experts.
Warning: Remove the cleaning liquid carefully and completely from the cleaning bath.
3. General commissioning
Place the unit in a suitable place and connect the power adapter which is included in the delivery.
4. Operation
The IMPRIMO Clean has three different cleaning programs.
®
Low: The slow cleaning cycle of this program is best suited for delicate structures.
Medium: The standard cleaning cycle is suitable for most print objects.
High: The intense cleaning cycle is destined for print objects with a large amount of uncured resin residues.
After selecting a program, the cleaning time can be set. The time varies depending on the amount of the remaining, uncured resin residues. The
average cleaning time is 5 minutes.
Close the lid and press the start button to initiate the cleaning process.
Once the set cleaning time has elapsed, the cleaning process ends which is confirmed by an indication on the display.
Important: Remove the print objects immediately after completion of the cleaning process from the cleaning liquid to maintain their quality.
Pull out both handles marked with "pull" to lift the objects from the liquid.
By applying pressure to the handles, the platform can be lowered into the liquid again.
In case of a decrease of the cleaning performance, the cleaning liquid is saturated and needs to be replaced. For this purpose, lift the liquid
container from the unit to pour out the liquid through the small opening.
