Before touching the wireless LAN card, make sure that you earth your
body to dissipate any static electric charge that might damage the
card.
B B Static electricity from the human body can damage the wireless LAN
card. To prevent this, you should touch a nearby metallic object such as
an aluminium sash or a door knob to dissipate the static charge from your
body.
Install the wireless LAN card to the specified card slot only.
B B If this is not observed, damage to the device may result. Before installing
the wireless LAN card, check that the card slot on the device being used
is a CF Type II card slot, or a PC card (PCMCIA) Type II or Type III card
slot. [The PC card (PCMCIA) Type II or Type III card slot is only for using
the accessory PC card adapter.]
