Money Box "Vault"
with digital coin counter

Use in accordance with manufacturer's instructions
The money box "Vault", with digital coin counter and time display, is intended to be used to keep
track of your change. When thrown in, each coin is identified and counted, and the current total
amount of your savings appears in the display.Therefore, you always know exactly how much
money is in the money box. In the money box "Vault", there is another compartment next to the
coin tray for storing various things.The vault is protected by a 6-digit code.
Only use Euro coins.
Any use other than described above is not permitted and can damage the product.The product
may not be altered or converted.
All the safety and operating instructions in this manual must be followed carefully. Please read
the entire operating manual before using the product. Always retain it for later reference.
Safety Instructions
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe
these safety instructions! We do not accept liability for damage to property
and injury to persons caused by mishandling or non-compliance with the
safety instructions! In such cases the warranty will be null and void.
General Safety Instructions
• If you have any doubts about the correct operation, or the safety of the device,
please consult a specialist.
• The product is not a toy and must be kept out of the reach of children.
• Do not leave packing materials unattended. They may become dangerous
playthings for children.
• If you sell this product or give it away, you must hand over these operating
instructions.
• Also observe the safety instructions in the individual sections of this operating
guide.
• Maintenance, adjustment and repair may only be carried out by a specialist or a
specialised repair shop.
• If you have any questions, which are not answered in this manual, please contact
our technical customer service.
Product Specific Safety Instructions
• This product must not be exposed to high mechanical pressure.
• This product must not be exposed to extreme temperatures, strong vibrations,
moisture or heavy mechanical stress.
• If safe operation is no longer possible, take the device out of service and secure it
against unintended use.
Battery Safety Information
• Make sure that the polarity is correct when inserting the batteries.
• Remove the batteries, if you are not going to use the device for a while, to prevent
damage from leaking.
• Leaking or damaged batteries/rechargeable batteries can cause acid burns on
contact with the skin.Therefore, you should wear protective gloves when handling
damaged batteries/rechargeable batteries.
• Do not leave batteries/rechargeable batteries lying around; they could be
swallowed by children or pets.If swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.
• Ensure that batteries/rechargeable batteries are not short-circuited or thrown into
a fire. There is a risk of explosion!
• For the environmentally friendly disposal of batteries/rechargeable batteries,
please read the chapter "Disposal".
Inserting the Batteries
1. Using a screwdriver, remove the screw from the battery compartment cover.Remove the
cover.
2. Insert three AA batteries, paying attention to the correct polarity.
3. Replace the cover on the battery compartment.
4. Retighten the screws on the battery compartment cover.
5. The LCD should show "00-00".
When replacing the batteries, ensure that the accumulated total amount is not
deleted:
• To do this, replace the old batteries by new ones within 30 seconds.
• Change the batteries as soon as the digits displayed on the LCD start to dim.

• To set the current time, please press the key combination * and * and #.

• Enter the hour using the keys 0-9.
• Press the * key to confirm.
• Enter the minutes using the keys 0-9.
• Press the * key to confirm.
• Enter the day of the week using the keys 1-7.
• Press the * key to confirm.
• Enter the month using the keys 0-9.
• Press the * key to confirm.
• Enter the current date using the keys 0-9.
• Press the # key to confirm.
• Enter the hours for the alarm time using the keys 0-9.
• Press the * key to confirm.
• Enter the minutes for the alarm time using the keys 0-9.
• Press the # key to confirm.
To change the displayed total savings manually (e.g. for withdrawal):
• Press the * key repeatedly, until you reach the number to be changed and it flashes.
• Enter the desired digits using the keys 0-9.
• Confirm every input with the * key.
Finally, confirm the change by pressing the # key.
After about 10 seconds without any further input, the display automatically switches back to time
mode.
If you want to change the alarm time directly, press the key combination * and * and # and #.
Then, please proceed as described above.
You can turn off the sound of the alarm by pressing any key.
If you want to change the total amount of the savings directly, press the key combination * and
* and # and # and #.
Then, please proceed as described above.

Displaying Information

In the normal mode, the current time is always shown on the display.
• To view the date, please press * and * and 0.
• To view the total amount, press * and * and 1.
• To view the alarm time, please press * and * and 2.
Setting the Digital Code
The default code is 000000.
To set your own code, please proceed as follows:
• Press the * key and enter the old code (in this case 000000).
• Confirm your input with the # key.
• Enter a new 3 to 6 digit code using the keys 0-9.
• Confirm your input with the # key.
• Enter the new 3 to 6 digit code again.
• Confirm your input with the # key.
Now, the new code is stored.
Opening the "Vault" Door
• Enter the default code or your entered code using the keys 0-9.
• Confirm your input with the # key.
• You hear a long beep and you hear a click.
• Gently turn the "Vault" wheel to the right, and open the door.
• A double beep is sounded.
• If you do not open the door after about 3 seconds, it locks automatically and you must enter
the code again.
Explanation of the Keypad
* = Use this key to select or move
# = Use this key to confirm
0 – 9 = Keypad for input
On the inside of the door there is a "RESET" key.
Using this "RESET" key, all the settings including the code are set to the original default
state.The code returns to the factory default 000000.
The keys are light up red on use.

Operation

1. Throw only one coin in at a time through the opening in the cover.
2. The LCD displays the value of the coin and the cumulative total value for your coins.
Each key press is confirmed by a beep.
